Tonight at a family party with my husband’s family, the topic of colonoscopies came up. I mentioned that I don’t intend to get any colonoscopies as my dad had a bad reaction. I was met with awkward silence and everyone sharing how many polyps they’ve has in the past. I wanted to ask how much the colon cancer deaths have dropped since colonoscopies be and a think but I just kept my mouth shut.

Remember when “the party of No” was supposed to be an insult? I always thought it identified the adults in the room. Where’d they all go?
