What if politicians were more interested in expanding liberty than passing laws? Too much legislation is no more than carve outs for special interests and fuel for litigation. Texas Rep Chip Roy spoke recently about removing X number of old statutes for every new statute passed. Imagine whittling state and federal code down to the Constitution.

Never going to happen. Corruption is only weeded out through judgement which prolly means collapse and/or revolt. Politicians will never legislate against themselves.
