If one looks forward from say the 1950s state of science, things look pretty advanced. But is one takes the present state of affairs, then things like synthetic biology, injected self-assembling nano-technology are probably in their infancy as to what is to come. And therefore, I increasingly come to believe that the need to have 'sample test populations' for development is compelling. BUT, how would this all be accomplished ... and on the QT, and without attracting a lot of attention?
