Thank you Jeff! I'm sharing this widely & asking others to as well. Let's all remember that God commanded us to speak the truth in love when it is helpful, but the truth will offend many even when shared in love. We must all get past this fear of offending people!!!
I cannot tell you how very much I appreciated every single word of this article. Every word. It echoes much of what I've been feeling in such an eloquent, respectful way. I switched churches due to mask mandates 🤦 the final straw was when the preacher (also a lawyer so very well educated) used his platform to sing the praises of masks & the coming (this was last year) vaxx to "save the world" 🙄 Anyway, found a group of believers who NEVER closed their doors & never forced masks & just respected everyone's individual decision. Thank you for this article.
God says to flee from evil. Everyone must leave churches whose Pastors are not fighting against this evil, including the shots which have aborted fetus cells in the testing or actual shots. Hebrews 10:25 says not to give up meeting together. Just find some Christian patriots and meet outdoors, in a home, etc. You will be so blessed. You will also experience real freedom. No Pastor or person even in this lost nation agrees that a church should be a company. But every formal one is ... a 501C (corporation) to bow down to Uncle Sam. It's a complete conflict of interest. Stop "going to church" and stop "tithing" or giving money to the church! It infuriates Jesus. Give to those most in need. Almost every penny given to a traditional church goes to pay the (unnecessary) salaries & bills, and the scraps may go to the needy. It's the OPPOSITE of what God wants.
Pods with hired teachers are NOT considered homeschools. A homeschool is a non-public, unaccredited school with less than one employee. If money is trading hands for someone else to guide, direct, assign and maintain records, then it isn’t homeschooling. I’m not against pods, but equating pods with homeschooling serves to deny the fundamental difference between the two: one is a parent with full parental rights, the other is a paid individual who does not have any relation nor any rights to the child. Parents ought to be afforded a bit more leeway to things like regulations. My state had a bill that would require ALL schools to have their water tested each year. That would mean the family home would have to comply with it. That’s just silly.

Us Christians must “Walk by Faith not by Sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7 Stop this FEAR Madness and truly TRUST IN OUR LORD. I would love it if people on here could post Local Gainesville Churches that are not affected by the Fear over Faith. I would like to find a new church and need some recommendations. Ready and Willing to Help our Churches WAKE UP!!!!! Thank You Jeff for all that you do.
My favorite Bible verse when people speak the “works” heresy is Ephesians 2:8-9. “For by grace are you saved, through faith, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.”

What would Jesus do? I don't know the answer to that but I do know His desire is for our lives to reflect the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.
I am not the judge and do not judge you, but I pray your actions are based on the whole counsel of God.
