Interesting point about the Duck and Cover as training. I never thought of it that way. In my adult life I have wondered how, exactly, hiding under desks was supposed to do anything useful. Protect from falling debris, I suppose? Interesting too about the Public Service messaging for forest fires. Making folks think we can control things we cannot.
