It's New Year's Eve, and so today brings Coffee & Covid's 2025 Year in Review (Part I). Join me for a whirlwind tour of one of the most remarkable years in American history.
While hubs and I were watching a Netflix series (The Recruit which actually portrays the CIA as the ruthless criminals they are) we saw the following NBC “News” ad (60 seconds):
My first thought was, we’re being punked. They’ve got to be joking.

The first few minutes of Steve’s show (the cold open) he plays like 3 1/2 painful min of the mocking birds squawking their propaganda. I turn down the volume instead of throwing a big rock through the screen.
😁 There is actually a story behind my severing ties with TV. I had some news on in the background one day, and turned it off. My two cats visibly relaxed. So I turned the TV back on. You could just feel the tension in the room. Fascinating. On off. Tension up, tension down. That sealed the deal for me vis a vis my TV watching habits.
Same reason I cancelled my newspaper subscription about a dozen years ago. I hung on too long as I did like the local events coverage but occurred to me that starting the day being angry (at the biased BS passing as journalism) was not the best way to start my day.
Totally agree man! We need to have more conversations about this. Totally get that this is a nuanced topic and not all Jews or Israel equals bad, but there is some bad here.

Is this the new 'series" entitled CIA that the "Peacock channel" is touting? I was sickened to my stomach when I heard the adverts! Of course...not surprising as all MSM is held captive by the "spooks"!! Now...WE THE PEOPLE need to clean up the mess of the past EIGHTY YEARS. Not a "small task" - we need alert, capable, intelligent FREEDOM LOVING, U S. CONSTITUTION ABIDING young people coming to the fore!! The plot can be somewhat interesting, but when two women or two men start locking lips and groping each other, I’m done.
I totally believe all of this is 'blessed' by our "supreme snoops" agencies - and many of those agencies are infiltrated by spies from OTHER countries. I don't know if you remember an "ancient" (from the 1960's) TV series titled "The Third Man" (Michael Rennie was the star). I really enjoyed that series and it was about "spy agencies" - but it was circumspect and intelligent (at least to my 16 year old brain).
I also note that the adverts on "streaming video" platforms are predominantly featuring "people of color" or "gays" - have you noticed that, Willing?

Wow, gaslight much? Fact is: For the 2024-2025 season, NBC Nightly News averaged 6.020 million total viewers and 876,000 viewers in the key demo. This was down 6% in total viewers and 8% in the demo compared to the previous season. In a country of 348 Million. 1.7% of the population!
The only appropriate response to that NBC plug is a big horse laugh. Unless, of course, they are planning an abrupt about face and are committed to fair and balanced reporting in 2026 which we know is impossible even for conservative outlets. It's time to pass a law requiring all media outlets and even social media venues to declare themselves either left leaning, right leaning or neutral and if they claim they are neutral, to immediately dismiss them as self-admitted deceivers.
LHotP !! My wife was away for 10 days at the beginning of December, so I could watch whatever I wanted while she was away. I found a full time channel for LHotP. I must have watched 30+ episodes, even the pilot episode that I had never seen before. Glorious!
I saw it the ad as well last night, right before watching comedian Leanne Morgan’s new special. I laughed so hard and then said yo my husband….they aren’t kidding! They think they aren’t biased? And are just giving us the news and letting us make up our own minds? I was in shock….

As most of us have mixed feelings about DOGE (we love what they did, but wish they had accomplished more), it appears citizen journalists (journalists) have taken up the mantle. Nick Shirley being the most well known one presently. Maybe a decentralized DOGE will metastasize and carry on the work started by Musk, Big Balls, etc.
Totally. Some yesterday were saying the FIB had been on this well before Nick Shirley. Yet Nick simply looked into the first daycare in the listing for that city and nothing had been done to them and they clearly we're involved in a law suit by the Gov.

Nick is following up on an older man's work, who probably had no idea how to post any of his findings. He started going to day cares five years ago and asking if he could bring his grandson. So this is to me, a wonderful collaboration between the older doing the footwork, and then the younger helping to expose it via social media and the like. As it should be.

Whenever I discuss tariffs especially China tariffs with Trump haters I can’t help but ask, why do we in the United States want to trade with communist China after what they did to us regarding Covid? Really, objectively, this is a country that released a biological weapon, a manufactured, fabricated super virus produced in a lab in Wuhan, and they released it upon the entire world deliberately. They knowingly flew infected people all around the world resulting in millions of people dying. They lied about it. Xi Jinping the communist strong man, that butcher, that slave holder, systematically covered it up and didn’t bat an eye as he knowingly allowed infected people to fly out of Beijing and Shang Hai, into Australia, Europe, America, and they spread that virus all over the world. Then to add insult to injury they tried to maximize profit, money, take economic advantage, because they sold us and the world masks, PPE, and pharmaceuticals. So why would we want to trade with them. I’ll tell you why, because we had a president that was completely compromised, he was on the take. A media that was compromised, they were on the take. They lied to us. The FBI lied, our intelligence agencies lied, the CIA lied, the NSA lied., they all knew it came from that lab in Wuhan. Our own government was implicated in it, led by Obama, Fauci and his boss Francis Collins. We funded it, we supported it. We aided and abetted in this crime.
So honestly 125 % isn’t nearly enough, 500% isn’t enough for causing the spread of this death and destruction. Nothing against the Chinese people, they are good hard working people, but this Chinese government, this brutal communists regime in Beijing needs to be bankrupted and they need to collapse just like the old Soviet Union. I have a friend who was in the Hong Kong airport on Jan. 1, 2020.
He said that the airport was announcing that the Chinese government had identified a new virus, and was advising people to take precautions. The announcement was in Chinese and English.
They didn't lie about it. They reported it to the WHO at the same time.
Americans, on the other hand, were told that "vaping" was killing young men in the summer of 2019, when the virus first spread in the US. They had coffee ground lungs, same as covid patients the next year. Coincidence? I think not.
I believe that Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina (still there), who was working on bioweaponized viruses, was involved in the development of SARS 2, along with Ft. Dietrick, which was closed down for a while in the summer of 2019 for unspecified reasons, are where the bioengineered virus was spread, although the original virus did come from China, via the Bat Lady, who worked with Baric.
The nerve of them telling us that this was a "novel" virus, never before seen by humans, when the very name SARS TWO(!) made it clear that this was not a brand new virus.
They flew people all over the world knowing they were infected, look at Italy where they do a lot of business, Italy was devastated. They denied it came from the lab in Wuhan. They cleaned the lab and got rid of all paperwork about what they were doing there. They wouldn’t let anyone in there to inspect. They closed all flights from China into Beijing where they live. It’s funny I said American institutions lied about it. I said America is implicated in the virus, but some people just want to bash everyone, amazing and typical all in one! You didn’t say China took any responsibility for the virus at all, you just said they told people there was a virus going around, Ok. The point of my comment is why do we want to trade with communist China?
They knew beforehand and opened up too late. They also killed their lead scientist at Wuhan who discovered the leak and was telling everyone he could. He was thrown off a very high building.
The American people funded USAID; with your logic, the American people are at fault. Shifting the responsibility further down from the kinetic action is moving the goalposts.
The buck ultimately stops with the voting machine and the dead voter. Fixed. At Article I, section 2, clause 1, US Constitution, the States retained the power to set qualifications for voters. But the Progressives indoctrinated us with the idiotic belief that the ideal is “universal suffrage” – and so now we have blithering idiots voting & drowning out the voices of the wise.
A stolen presidential election that was allowed to stand. I believe they will use the Dominion machines again, paper ballots be damned and they will still use mail in ballot. People without citizenship are able vote in any American election, local, state, national.
Maybe the people that love China so much and stick up for them make a lot of money off the slaves, the Uyghurs. Maybe they get a piece of the action from their organs Xi extracts from them. Most democrats like Bernie Sanders and Tim Walz love China, starting to make sense.

Totally. Some yesterday were saying the FIB had been on this well before Nick Shirley. Yet Nick simply looked into the first daycare in the listing for that city and nothing had been done to them and they clearly we're involved in a law suit by the Gov.

Nick is following up on an older man's work, who probably had no idea how to post any of his findings. He started going to day cares five years ago and asking if he could bring his grandson. So this is to me, a wonderful collaboration between the older doing the footwork, and then the younger helping to expose it via social media and the like. As it should be.

Whenever I discuss tariffs especially China tariffs with Trump haters I can’t help but ask, why do we in the United States want to trade with communist China after what they did to us regarding Covid? Really, objectively, this is a country that released a biological weapon, a manufactured, fabricated super virus produced in a lab in Wuhan, and they released it upon the entire world deliberately. They knowingly flew infected people all around the world resulting in millions of people dying. They lied about it. Xi Jinping the communist strong man, that butcher, that slave holder, systematically covered it up and didn’t bat an eye as he knowingly allowed infected people to fly out of Beijing and Shang Hai, into Australia, Europe, America, and they spread that virus all over the world. Then to add insult to injury they tried to maximize profit, money, take economic advantage, because they sold us and the world masks, PPE, and pharmaceuticals. So why would we want to trade with them. I’ll tell you why, because we had a president that was completely compromised, he was on the take. A media that was compromised, they were on the take. They lied to us. The FBI lied, our intelligence agencies lied, the CIA lied, the NSA lied., they all knew it came from that lab in Wuhan. Our own government was implicated in it, led by Obama, Fauci and his boss Francis Collins. We funded it, we supported it. We aided and abetted in this crime.
So honestly 125 % isn’t nearly enough, 500% isn’t enough for causing the spread of this death and destruction. He said that the airport was announcing that the Chinese government had identified a new virus, and was advising people to take precautions. The announcement was in Chinese and English.

I believe that Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina (still there), who was working on bioweaponized viruses, was involved in the development of SARS 2, along with Ft. Dietrick, which was closed down for a while in the summer of 2019 for unspecified reasons, are where the bioengineered virus was spread, although the original virus did come from China, via the Bat Lady, who worked with Baric.
The nerve of them telling us that this was a "novel" virus, never before seen by humans, when the very name SARS TWO(!) made it clear that this was not a brand new virus.
