They've learned more about cholesterol now and found out that foods with cholesterol doesn't translate to adding to your cholesterol. Red meat is a different story. It's the amount we eat and the way we cook it. They recommend it twice a week and in 4 ounce portions, not the 16 ounce steaks people buy in restaurants. IMO butter is always better.
