Yesterday saw a post that showed thumbnail images of articles criticizing the term "natural" in describing breast feeding of infants.
The pitch was that the terminology can have negative effects by suggesting that breastfeeding is natural and preferred, (and in their view, not true; eye roll please in acknowledgement of the infant formula shortages).
Also, that saying breastfeeding is natural can lead to anti-vaxx sentiments. In effect, parents might view childhood vaccines as not natural and not get children vaccinated.
In some of our lifetimes(those who were teens in the 1970's) we may recall how the term "natural" became the food labeling trend--even though we were still getting pesticides and GMO's in the food. The addition of "100%-Natural" increased the food products desirability. Capital dominance and the supremacy of 'profits before health' as the metric of choice created a monster. We live in the wake of Mad Ave thought programming going back a century or more.

Cat milk is a thing, but one feeds it with a dropper. I work with animals and I have seen how it's done. The fact her (it's almost certainly a "her") cat is not spayed speaks volumes about what type of person she is. Perhaps I'm just partisan, but my judgment is "irresponsible and should not be a pet owner." In fact, merely having un-neutered animals is an automatic disqualifier for adoptions at my shelter.

Mama cat (Ruby) is scheduled for spaying on Tuesday and we’re sharing the cost. Unbelievable vet prices here in the big city. We’ll be splitting a $300 charge. One estimate was $500. I checked the price at the excellent vet in the small town nearby and it was $95. Too many crazy young professionals here, who don’t want children, just pets, and have more money than sense.

As usual, 'they' take a grain of truth and blow it up into a lie-- intentionally by design but also with the help of the health-ignorant low-level "journalists." Synthetic vitamin D in isolation is actually not so good for you and can have deleterious effects. But the solution is NOT to abandon Vit D, like these articles suggest. The solution is to get as much as we can from natural sources like the sun and cod liver oil-- AND make sure we are getting the cofactors-- like vitamin K-- to properly process D (which, by the way, is actually a hormone and not a vitamin per se). But now people are going to give up on the greatly beneficial nutrients that we all need to stay healthy based on the lie in the headlines.
I had a karen worn me about the dangers of possibly overdosing on vitamin supplements. Like that is in the top 10 of causes for injuries and death. Meanwhile she took 4 shots of the clot shots. But that's safe and effective!? If I even cared about her I might have said something. I just shook my head like I cared.

Yes, I've seen the same thing with Iodine use as a gargle or a nasal spray. Despite the fact that at least the gargle is a legitimate product, if you search you will find articles that say stuff like "iodine can be harmful and cause thyroid issues." These things are true, but if you do a bit more research, you'd find that the doses of iodine required to even make one acutely sick, much less die, are probably hundreds of time the amount that are in a swig of mouthwash (not supposed to ingest it anyway!) or the few snorts of a nasal spray. The official organs (e.g. WebMD) seem to be saying in absolutist fashion "This is bad! Don't do it!"
In a similar way, I've noted that on my "horse dewormer" (note! I have NOT taken this product and am not recommending it!!!) has scary sounding phrases like: "Not for use in humans." This is not to say that it could not be harmful; other warnings warn against use in other species including dogs, because it could be harmful or fatal. All that may be true. But let's consider the facts: this paste is 1.87% ivermectin. If the dosage were properly calculated, why would it be any different from "human" ivermectin? Issues of purity or preparation aside, the simple fact is veterinary drug is identical from human drug.
Again, I'm not advocating using such products for other than their intended use.

There are many people, and institutions that deserve to be punished relentlessly in this fiasco, but corporate healthcare/medicine is quickly becoming enemy #1 - even MORE than public health agencies because though PHA have the veneer of "protecting people," corporate health was motivated by pure, straight up greed (and secondarily, control). And I hate to say this, because I know there is a strong pro-Trump contingency reading this substack (and I would consider myself generally pro-Trump) but Trump's Covid Response team was awful. Yes, he brought in Scott Atlas (who was great), but under the leadership of Pence, it inflicted vast amounts of damage upon the country - in particular where lockdown/shutdown policies are concerned. Trump needs to do a little soul-searching and own the L. I need assurances from him that, knowing what we know now, he would never authorize this approach again.
I can agree with this...and my husband always reminds me (as I am more pro Trump than he is), that Trump authorized the lockdowns & school closures in the first place. And then he did rush and push the jab. And he still hasn't spoken out against the jab even though the evidence is becoming overwhelming. I do agree with you, I would like some sort of admission or apology from him as well. I think he tried to do the right thing, but ultimately those two actions really hurt us. Trump was saying he wanted to have the country open by Easter. I remember that because my progressive sister mocked him for that, saying he wanted everyone to die. There were too many forces against him to open the country without the support of Fauci, Birx, and Pence (who was tight with Birx).
Unfortunately, President Trump acquiesced to Birx by issuing his "30 Days to Slow Spread" announcement on Mar 29, 2020, making an Easter opening impossible. Chapter 7 of Birx's book is "Turning Fifteen into Thirty". Here she documents that her original "15 Days to 'Flatten the Curve" was merely a ruse to get to what she really wanted -- 30 days at a minimum. Trump gave in to that, which gave governors the green light to enact their illegal, immoral, and completely unjustified shutdowns.

First of all....this is not a R or a D problem, T or a B problem. You cannot place blame on them because it is a WORLDWIDE problem. Living in Trump's America was amazing. Not always easy to enjoy due to all the negativity directed at the President, but dang. It was great. Everyday. America was manufacturing our own goods and we were at peace with most of the world. Summits were held with Kim and Xi. I truly believe Trump was misled from the very beginning...actually I think this was a long term plot against us and they timed it to take him out. He was headed for re-election. Everything was going very well in the economy for the middle class. If he gets the messaging right on this (or actually, just tells the whole truth here about what the deep state has done to us), then I think 2024 will be such a blowout that it will be impossible for them to cheat again. I have just as much respect for someone who can change their mind (despite overwhelming pressure not to) as I do for those who were right from the beginning. These mRNA vaccines are evil. I have said to people since last year that Big Pharma will get away with their sins until the impact of the side effects leads to deaths. You can explain away adverse reactions, but it's hard to hide deaths on a scale that we are now seeing in heavily-vaccinated countries. Every vaccinated person who dies from covid or suffers some long-term impacts from the covid virus after a breakthrough is yet another casualty to add to the millions of people who have already been injured from the vaccines themselves. As I said earlier, there will be reckoning.

I am finally getting around to reading her book on January 6th and I have to do so in small chunks because it is too hard to read about the injustice done to protestors who, almost to a person, just wanted someone to acknowledge that the 2020 election was vastly different from previous ones (again, due to Covid) and for the System to acknowledge the irregularities. None of them expected to halt the eventual installation of Biden as President nor did they think they were executing some kind of massive overthrow of the sitting government (it is just ridiculous to even contemplate). Unfortunately, DC is a uniparty, but here in Michigan we are trying to get rid of tyranny in the form of governor, AG, and SOS, along with various state and US Congressmen. We have to start someplace, but for now the best place to start is with a Red Wave. It has to be in this state if we hope to ever see a difference. Our eyes are opened and conservative people are running for county and city board seats, for school boards, who have never run before, for ANY office. All politics is local, and red is the way to start. This is just the beginning of the battle.

I heard a story on NPR today about a study they did (I think in Texas) on long Covid. The symptoms they described for the syndrome were very much the same ones you'd expect with post-shot myocardial injury. I think there will be a growing narrative to assign all the symptoms as "long Covid."

My hubs who works for an airline was just telling me about all the canceled flights because of the pilot shortages. They’re not passing their yearly physicals and therefore losing their livelihoods. Somebody check me but this is what I get: For the latest WEEK, England had 1,350 excess deaths as of Aug 5. I wasn't able to get a percentage figure over base line for England. When I drilled down into the Comments, someone reported for New Zealand for the end of July had 950 excess WEEKLY deaths. The 5 year base line was 642. This represents a 48% increase in the weekly death rate over base line. This experience is in line with the 40% increase reported by the life insurance industry in the US.

The general public may be waking up to the jabs- my hairdresser told me she has Crohn's disease- it took a year to diagnose her. She said she got it because of her second c-19 vax. Now, I never talk about my feelings about such things out in public, she brought it up. She said the vaccines target weak areas in your body and then damages them. Just last night I went to dinner with a pro vax girlfriend. She is just shocked that she, after all this time just got covid. And is amazed that my husband and I never got shots or covid. My elderly father asked why wouldn't get the vaccine. I said its experimental. He laughed and said no its not (really, how does he not know that they are experimental?) And my mom got violently angry with me when I asked her to look into the side effects before she got that vaccine! The anger was totally out of proportion to a vaccine. It was so strange. I think a certain percentage of people are just lost. Their eyes are permanently closed.

Subliminal messages are not supposed to be a highly effective tool for "brainwashing" people. at was a scare in the mid-20th century and was debunked. If they really were so effective, we'd all be mindless zombies programmed by our TV, movies and other video we were exposed to.
On the other hand, far be it from me to deny that massive advertising and sophisticated propaganda efforts, as with the the various official messages about the pandemic and the "vaccines," could persuade or if you like, "brainwash" large groups of people. Even in normal times, large numbers of people acquire or maintain beliefs, including demonstrably false and ridiculous ones. My daughter's best friend (age 52) had colon cancer 2019, treated and in remission since then. She got the shots in early 2021, her cancer came back suddenly but had spread to her liver and other places,all diagnosed in August 2021, then she stupidly got the booster (her doctor's advice) in about November 2021, and now she's got tumors all over....yesterday said she now has at least 70 tumors, and she goes in for a re-check/re-count in September. NOW she says she fears all this recurrence is directly due to the shots. Her daughter and other family members refused the shots and tried to convince her to not take them, but for whatever reason she got them anyway. She cries every day about all this, knowing she most likely sealed her own death warrant, and realizes she did this to herself by not listening to the warnings about the possible dangers. It's heartbreaking to watch her decline as she's a good, sweet person who put too much faith in a corrupt government.

As a late life child, I was raised to be suspicious about doctors. They didn’t used to be glorified like they are today. They were considered very helpful in terms of broken legs and such, but if you were actually sick, you needed to be very suspicious about treatments.
Even worse: prescription drugs USED AS DIRECTED are a leading cause (Ranking #4, according to one source) of death in the US; an a huge number of hospitalizations.
I agree that doctors should be used with caution. Many potential conflicts of interest exist, from promoting that shiny new prescription drug he receives a commission from, to being in a straight jacket on what treatments he can offer, depending upon the local administrator and/or government treatment guidelines. Sad to say, the patient's best interest may not be the top concern.
The vast majority of "new" drugs are at best incremental improvements over older drugs. Yes, improvements and breakthroughs exist, but they're a tiny fraction, the exceptions that prove the rule. Also, even being a highly effective drug says nothing about side effects or safety, both of which can't possibly be known for a new product with no track record. And the testing? Don't even get me started on that! In my opinion, if one of your doctors prescribes anything besides a generic drug, ask him to defend the choice..

I almost became a sad statistic with a strange side effect (numb left side of body)which only by the grace of God through prayer disappeared. Ofcourse our gvt was not under the oligarch iof Big Pharm back then, so after reports of paralysis they pulled it off the market and 60 Minutes even did an expose about the vaccine.
This experience and remembrance, and the enlightenment of prayer gave me serious misgivings about the covid vaccine. My gut and my research (thanks you RFK Jr. and Dr. Malone) solidified my decision to forego it despite feeling like an outcast to all my clueless *Proud as Peacock* (for having their vaccines), friends, family and coworkers.

The fact her (it's almost certainly a "her") cat is not spayed speaks volumes about what type of person she is. Perhaps I'm just partisan, but my judgment is "irresponsible and should not be a pet owner." In fact, merely having un-neutered animals is an automatic disqualifier for adoptions at my shelter.

I checked the price at the excellent vet in the small town nearby and it was $95. Too many crazy young professionals here, who don’t want children, just pets, and have more money than sense.

As usual, 'they' take a grain of truth and blow it up into a lie-- intentionally by design but also with the help of the health-ignorant low-level "journalists." Synthetic vitamin D in isolation is actually not so good for you and can have deleterious effects. But the solution is NOT to abandon Vit D, like these articles suggest. The solution is to get as much as we can from natural sources like the sun and cod liver oil-- AND make sure we are getting the cofactors-- like vitamin K-- to properly process D (which, by the way, is actually a hormone and not a vitamin per se). But now people are going to give up on the greatly beneficial nutrients that we all need to stay healthy based on the lie in the headlines.
I had a karen worn me about the dangers of possibly overdosing on vitamin supplements. Like that is in the top 10 of causes for injuries and death. Meanwhile she took 4 shots of the clot shots. But that's safe and effective!? If I even cared about her I might have said something. I just shook my head like I cared.

Yes, I've seen the same thing with Iodine use as a gargle or a nasal spray. Despite the fact that at least the gargle is a legitimate product, if you search you will find articles that say stuff like "iodine can be harmful and cause thyroid issues." These things are true, but if you do a bit more research, you'd find that the doses of iodine required to even make one acutely sick, much less die, are probably hundreds of time the amount that are in a swig of mouthwash (not supposed to ingest it anyway!) or the few snorts of a nasal spray. The official organs (e.g. WebMD) seem to be saying in absolutist fashion "This is bad! Don't do it!"
In a similar way, I've noted that on my "horse dewormer" (note! I have NOT taken this product and am not recommending it!!!) has scary sounding phrases like: "Not for use in humans." This is not to say that it could not be harmful; other warnings warn against use in other species including dogs, because it could be harmful or fatal. All that may be true. But let's consider the facts: this paste is 1.87% ivermectin. If the dosage were properly calculated, why would it be any different from "human" ivermectin? Issues of purity or preparation aside, the simple fact is veterinary drug is identical from human drug.

Here she documents that her original "15 Days to 'Flatten the Curve" was merely a ruse to get to what she really wanted -- 30 days at a minimum. Trump gave in to that, which gave governors the green light to enact their illegal, immoral, and completely unjustified shutdowns.
oh yeah, turning things around and getting us going quickly is one of the very many reasons I support him. He has made a great deal of wonderful decisions. Too many for me to even try to list. He had so many people working against him, so I understand he was in an impossible place. First of all....this is not a R or a D problem, T or a B problem. You cannot place blame on them because it is a WORLDWIDE problem. That is your first clue that there is something evil in play that involves all of humanity. One of the things Trump DID do is let states and cities deal with the riots on their own. I could see his point in a way. Sending in Federal troops to quell the illegal activities would have stopped the trickle down after effect of populating ghost cities with homeless and drug addicts. But, the idiotic mayors wanted to control Portland and Seattle and Trump let the blue staters have at it and they destroyed once beautiful cities and turned them into third world shitholes. Same can be said of the lockdowns. But in business Trump surrounded himself with those he trusted and he thrived. Bringing that approach to the White House didn't work so well for him during covid because the "experts" were the vipers.

What would be fascinating: Imagine if Trump came out in public and basically said something like: "I ask your forgiveness for ever having approved the mRNA jabs. I regret ever taking them. I was misled from the outset by powerful forces of the Deep State. [insert any details one likes, there is pretty good documentation at this late date.] The corruption of the FDA, of the media, [etc.] is to blame for the entire fiasco. If it were in my power, I would reform the entire institution. It is clear that these powers do not place the public's health and safety as their top priority."
Point: Trump has nothing to lose. By making such a direct attack on the Swamp, he would be signalling once and for all that he (or his successor) is offering a hard break with business as usual. Of course the media would have an absolute tizzy fit over this, but the mere fact of getting the issues out in the open would do our side wonders.

I truly believe Trump was misled from the very beginning...actually I think this was a long term plot against us and they timed it to take him out. He was headed for re-election. Everything was going very well in the economy for the middle class. If he gets the messaging right on this (or actually, just tells the whole truth here about what the deep state has done to us), then I think 2024 will be such a blowout that it will be impossible for them to cheat again. I hope that's what we will see because I think he's the only one who could take apart these corrupt agencies and fix this broken system of ours.

I have just as much respect for someone who can change their mind (despite overwhelming pressure not to) as I do for those who were right from the beginning. These mRNA vaccines are evil. I have said to people since last year that Big Pharma will get away with their sins until the impact of the side effects leads to deaths. You can explain away adverse reactions, but it's hard to hide deaths on a scale that we are now seeing in heavily-vaccinated countries. Every vaccinated person who dies from covid or suffers some long-term impacts from the covid virus after a breakthrough is yet another casualty to add to the millions of people who have already been injured from the vaccines themselves. As I said earlier, there will be reckoning.

I am finally getting around to reading her book on January 6th and I have to do so in small chunks because it is too hard to read about the injustice done to protestors who, almost to a person, just wanted someone to acknowledge that the 2020 election was vastly different from previous ones (again, due to Covid) and for the System to acknowledge the irregularities. Unfortunately, DC is a uniparty, but here in Michigan we are trying to get rid of tyranny in the form of governor, AG, and SOS, along with various state and US Congressmen. We have to start someplace, but for now the best place to start is with a Red Wave. It has to be in this state if we hope to ever see a difference. Our eyes are opened and conservative people are running for county and city board seats, for school boards, who have never run before, for ANY office. I heard a story on NPR today about a study they did (I think in Texas) on long Covid. The symptoms they described for the syndrome were very much the same ones you'd expect with post-shot myocardial injury. I think there will be a growing narrative to assign all the symptoms as "long Covid."

My hubs who works for an airline was just telling me about all the canceled flights because of the pilot shortages. They’re not passing their yearly physicals and therefore losing their livelihoods. Somebody check me but this is what I get: For the latest WEEK, England had 1,350 excess deaths as of Aug 5. I wasn't able to get a percentage figure over base line for England. When I drilled down into the Comments, someone reported for New Zealand for the end of July had 950 excess WEEKLY deaths. The 5 year base line was 642. This represents a 48% increase in the weekly death rate over base line. This experience is in line with the 40% increase reported by the life insurance industry in the US.

The general public may be waking up to the jabs- my hairdresser told me she has Crohn's disease- it took a year to diagnose her. She said she got it because of her second c-19 vax. Now, I never talk about my feelings about such things out in public, she brought it up. She said the vaccines target weak areas in your body and then damages them. She was a super pro- covid vaxxer until a year ago. People are starting to figure out what is happening when it happens to themselves or their loved ones.

Just last night I went to dinner with a pro vax girlfriend. She is just shocked that she, after all this time just got covid. And is amazed that my husband and I never got shots or covid. What’s ringing in her ears is her infectious disease expert relative who was in the control group and pushes the shots. So sad. I did say, you know there wasn’t a placebo group? The testing was flawed. She did know that, so she questions the facts sometimes but still plans to get another and another booster. I tried, but it’s hard to get the lie out of peoples heads.
My elderly father asked why wouldn't get the vaccine. I said its experimental. He laughed and said no its not (really, how does he not know that they are experimental?) And my mom got violently angry with me when I asked her to look into the side effects before she got that vaccine! The anger was totally out of proportion to a vaccine. It was so strange. I think a certain percentage of people are just lost. Their eyes are permanently closed.

There's a good reason why real vaccines take a decade or more to perfect. All the people who got the jabs are currently lab rats.
My daughter's best friend (age 52) had colon cancer 2019, treated and in remission since then. She got the shots in early 2021, her cancer came back suddenly but had spread to her liver and other places,all diagnosed in August 2021, then she stupidly got the booster (her doctor's advice) in about November 2021, and now she's got tumors all over....yesterday said she now has at least 70 tumors, and she goes in for a re-check/re-count in September. NOW she says she fears all this recurrence is directly due to the shots. Her daughter and other family members refused the shots and tried to convince her to not take them, but for whatever reason she got them anyway. She cries every day about all this, knowing she most likely sealed her own death warrant, and realizes she did this to herself by not listening to the warnings about the possible dangers. It's heartbreaking to watch her decline as she's a good, sweet person who put too much faith in a corrupt government.
This is so sad, and the fact that she realizes her mistake doesn’t make anyone happy. The pushers need to be prosecuted. Now!

In FL we are probably relatively lucky, compared to other States that don't like doctors who don't sing along with the State's (or the FDA's) official hymnal. My primary trying to get me to take Paxlovid was a wake-up call that not all was well with the Obamacare provided plan.
Odd: I got the potential MD's business card at a local health food store. An acquaintance recommended a certain homeopathic supplement sold there. Today she asked me if she should wait to get her next booster, with the revised formulation. 🙁 While I didn't press the issue, I was a bit taken aback by a woman who I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, was well versed with alternative medicine. As a late life child, I was raised to be suspicious about doctors. They didn’t used to be glorified like they are today. They were considered very helpful in terms of broken legs and such, but if you were actually sick, you needed to be very suspicious about treatments.
Even worse: prescription drugs USED AS DIRECTED are a leading cause (Ranking #4, according to one source) of death in the US; an a huge number of hospitalizations.
I agree that doctors should be used with caution. Many potential conflicts of interest exist, from promoting that shiny new prescription drug he receives a commission from, to being in a straight jacket on what treatments he can offer, depending upon the local administrator and/or government treatment guidelines. Sad to say, the patient's best interest may not be the top concern.
The vast majority of "new" drugs are at best incremental improvements over older drugs. Yes, improvements and breakthroughs exist, but they're a tiny fraction, the exceptions that prove the rule. Also, even being a highly effective drug says nothing about side effects or safety, both of which can't possibly be known for a new product with no track record. And the testing? I lived through the swine flu vaccine debacle of the 70s where they were pushing it on college campuses free just like this one.
I almost became a sad statistic with a strange side effect (numb left side of body)which only by the grace of God through prayer disappeared. Ofcourse our gvt was not under the oligarch iof Big Pharm back then, so after reports of paralysis they pulled it off the market and 60 Minutes even did an expose about the vaccine.
This experience and remembrance, and the enlightenment of prayer gave me serious misgivings about the covid vaccine. My gut and my research (thanks you RFK Jr. and Dr. Malone) solidified my decision to forego it despite feeling like an outcast to all my clueless *Proud as Peacock* (for having their vaccines), friends, family and coworkers.
I believe God revealed the truth to you years ago… to protect you from something more serious from this vaccine…
the same is true for me and my children who were injured by the AAP pediatric vaccine schedule … I believe the covid vaccine probably would have killed them both, based on what I’ve seen… my middle son developed some heart symptoms after even just contracting covid naturally… so directly injecting him with that spike protein into his blood stream could have had serious consequences for him.

I'm a "survivor" too. I was a teen and given a half-dose. The vax was pulled soon after. To my knowledge, I had no ill effects. But I can honestly lay claim to have been an unwilling guinea pig of a shoddy vaccine. I am VERY grateful that it was not the very dodgy Covid-19 "vaccines."
Given all the bad behavior since 2020, it is highly unlikely I will ever voluntarily take ANY vaccine again for the rest of my life, and anyone offering such to me is going to get a very impolite response. 😈
I wrote this comment on an article where Fauci is still complaining people are not getting vaccinated. I said: Hitler sent Jews to death camps, Fauci sends people to jab camps.
What is a major concern to me is the fact sooooooo many doctors validated Fauci. I refuse to use the term doctor to refer to him.
This single individual has bastardized a once credible government agency, the CDC and while also managing to instill doubt in people's minds concerning their doctors. Who at one time considered their patients first.
There is something good that came from Covid...we got to experience how diabolical governments will become with regards to controlling their citizens.
Was the CDC once credible? Or we just didn't realize what they were doing? Fauci has opened everyone's eyes to the partnership the CDC and FDA have with big pharma. That in itself is a good thing.

Some key things were different. This may seem unbelievable to younger folk, but before 1985 it was illegal to advertise prescription drugs. This applied to others too, for example doctors and lawyers were not allowed to advertise. Vaccines did not get their exemption from liability until 1986. Some of the knock-on effects of those are not apparent at first glance. For example, once Pharma became a major advertiser, it would likely put a damper on media's motivation to air news unfavorable to them.
No, they weren't. Most people didn't know that, which is understandable. Rotten to the core for a long, long time. I knew going in (March 2020) so I was onto the hoax immediately.

Not just the CDC. The NIH, NIAID (what he heads) and entire swaths of public health. The crippling of the reputation of institutions, the loss of confidence by citizens in them, is understandable. A curious question to ponder is whether it's accidental or deliberate, a bug or a feature. I'm on the fence, but surely a good case can be made that if you want to cause a society or nation to collapse, there are few better ways than in destroying trust in what once seemed trustworthy.
Since the “judge” is only a magistrate, a contract employee, can’t the REAL judge that’s over him take over and open this thing up???
And the magistrate is terribly compromised in this whole affair.

Unfortunately most people are dumbed down by sitting in front of their TV’s for news. They’re not going to get it on any of the local networks that also broadcast the national news.
