OMG! I was laughing, and not with her! That poor brainwashed Covidian crazy mentally unbalanced lady. I am sad for her but aware that she is choosing to stay brainwashed.

We used to have to dig hard for info. Now it’s been unburied enough that it’s much easier to find. So it’s a choice now.

On another note…I got a day to myself which is extremely rare when you care for a special needs adult daughter….so for the first time in three years I made my way to an absolutely gorgeous Florida beach by myself! I almost went to see Barbie with my free day (rotflol NOT 😂 😂) but chose a beach with lots of people!

Sunshine, exercise, fresh air, water….that would be better than a barbie movie. 😂

Have a great day C&C!!!

Welcome to Portland, Oregon. Annie. A few years back Portland elected Bud Clark for mayor, a tavern owner. His campaign slogan was "Keep Portland Weird". Somewhere in downtown Portland is a bronze statue of him wearing a trench coat with his back to the viewer and the coat opened to the front. Caption is "expose yourself to art". I think it's still there unless ANTIFA and BLM destroyed it during the riots...

I WANTED to say "why in the heck would you move to that leftist h*llhole?!" but I bit my tongue and wished him the best in his new job and address. A wise decision Dr. Linda. Portland proper is dangerous and with declining property values in some neighborhoods. The radical philosophy is spreading west and has about consumed Beaverton, south Tigard is on the brink of being lost. East to Gresham you need to keep your head on a swivel to make sure you wont be shot or stabbed. The Columbia River is a big natural barrier to the north and I don't know what is happening in Vancouver, WA. I don't watch TV so my news is via radio and I don't listen to it much as it's all filtered news. Long story short, Portland Metro area is not a place to raise children, with Eugene ORE being almost as bad.

P.S. do not use the mass transit train MAX without a guard, a few months back an elderly man was mauled, yes mauled by a homeless freak on the Gresham MAX train.

The devastating effects of mask wearing was far more reaching than most realize. Forget about the health risks, the masking of faces was a great way to de-personalize people. It also allowed some to act in a way they never would have without being masked (Kinda like social media). Then there's the little kids, from infants on up, who were handicapped from learning to interpret a person's facial expressions and resulting body language. Then there's the ties to the satanic rituals and their implications... People were so dumb to just comply. But, I remember - It's "only" a mask! Which lead to - It's "only" a vaccine!

That kind of fear is so sad. At the beginning of Covid I decided not to let fear control me and I only wore a mask when absolutely forced to...and pulled it under my nose as soon as I could get away with it. I can't breathe with a mask on and it actually gives me PTSD from something that happened to me as a child that I thought I was totally over with. The Bible tells us over and over to not fear and it made me feel so bad to see so many people with fear in their eyes.

Expand full comment

The VA was totally clueless about forcing us to wear masks.

Imagine that while on active duty, you were sexually assaulted and the perp put his hand, or something else, over your face to silence you.

Would wearing a mask bring back the nightmare all over again?

The VA knows that so many veterans have Military Sexual Trauma (MST) yet never considered the ramifications of forcing someone to cover their face to receive medical care.

And if the veteran refused to wear a mask, they were denied entry and medical care.

How is that humane?

Expand full comment
Faith Adams's avatar

In my case, it absolutely does bring back the nightmare. I was surprised because what happened to me was many, many years ago, and I didn't realize that is what was causing my problem. I discussed it with my doctor and she explained that PTSD can return to haunt us any time. Did she let me take my mask off in her office knowing this? NO! I can certainly feel for veterans with MST. It is not humane.

Started using it AFTER I learned they were fined by the FTC for false claims, figuring they got too close to cutting into pharma profits and so must be a good product. Pretty much any supplement includes a disclaimer *This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA This product is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease. Reminds me of the high school driver’s Ed teacher who showed us a horrific film about the results of careless and drunk driving and then said he was ready to take the first group out for the practical part of the class, including driving on the interstate highway. 😵‍💫

MANY overweight people are that way because of medications. My daughter was a size 4 when she was put on a medication and gained 70 pounds. When she was healthy enough she went off of the medication and has now lost 40 pounds. Many times people are morbidly obese because of medical interventions or mental illness. At one point in my life I was on 5 different meds and one day I cold turkeyed all 5. Had a few rough months( I do not recommend this) but the weight literally fell off. Didn’t change diet, exercise, etc. Granted, in this country our food is abysmal and the relentless stress causes a lot of overeating, but let’s give people the benefit of the doubt. This is not to celebrate obesity- get healthy!

Or the meds in her case is the vaxx, lack of oxygen from excessive masking and excessive use of door dash.

It’s fun to see what the maskers have in their carts! What do they shop for?🤔 🥤 🍪 🍩 🍫🍿

Seriously, see for yourselves next time!

it is! you would think they would be buying only from farmer's markets where it's fresh & there is no one else there. Or growing their own food.

I once witnesses a lady on one of the store mobility scooters make her kid put his new socks and school supplies back but kept the 3 packs of Dr Pepper and 6 bags of Doritos cause she was short on cash. It was years ago but still remember how sad I was. Unfortunately as recently divorced mom I wasn’t in a position to just buy the stuff for the kid, but I wasn’t buying Dr Pepper either. SMH

So would I. The main thing is we aren’t inviting people to participate in our lifestyle. I am on the fence about this woman is doing.

On the one hand, I would do nothing to encourage this behavior. It sound like one huge members only virtue signal. On the other, if people truly feel vulnerable they should develop a parallel economy.
