VA was denying medical care to veterans not wearing a mask.

VA would not allow veterans to sit next to each other because every other chair was blocked off.

VA had Plexiglas up and it was too hard to understand the clerks because of sound dampening from the Plexiglas.

Will this stupidity and insanity stop now?

Had a loved one recently do an intake appointment with the VA, the MOST important topic, what took the bulk of the time was ALL about immunizations and how important they are.... Cancer and current immediate needs, nah, those can be dealt with later, but first get your jabs!!!

How else would they be able to make sure you are always ill and completely dependent on them for care - and of course then they CONTROL you.

Sorry. It's just the way science works. It's kinda weird.

They love to cram the concept of “evidence based” down everyone’s throats. I am excited to talk to them about “evidence based” regarding the safe and effective shots.

Exactly. When my son, a doctor of pharmacology, was mandated by his employer to get the shot, he crammed the "evidence" right back at them and dared them to fire him. They surrendered.

Yeah for your son! I bet he encouraged others to at least think carefully about it.

Yup. He manages a team here in FL in his department and at least half of them followed his lead and did the same thing using the new law DeSantis got passed that imposed fines on companies that mandate the shot. Corp legal didn't want anything to do with that.

Bear in mind, he is a young man with a wife, a mortgage and three babies and an outstanding career. But, like he told his VP boss, he looked at the science and it didn't make sense and there was no way he or his family would take the shot.

How do so many seem capable of enduring such humiliation? How do so many seem willing to mete it out -- among our fellow "Americans?"

I doubt it. We have commented on this tomfoolery before. I have an appointment on Thursday. We’ll see

My husband has an appointment at a military hospital today. Apparently, the mask policy is only if you have symptoms.

The mask policy was removed last Monday. I had an appointment on Tuesday and was surprised because I had been there the week prior and their signs everywhere with masks at the door if you forgot your own. I have a VA appt today. Will be interesting to see if they still have theirs intact or not.

I was wondering the same thing. Will the VA now stop with the idiotic masks?

Michigan has it’s own state of emergency based on a 1918 health dept. statute. Wonder if that will go away now?

Seriously. It’s not VA related but, I’m still fighting with hospital administration to get a mask exemption and it’s been almost three years since my mask injury now. I had an exacerbation of my POTS and ended up with a brain injury and vocal cord dysfunction. This conversation I’ve been at them nonstop to get completely unmasked ever since January and we still haven’t resolved this because of all their delays and posturing. Even after I spoke with an ADA advocate, they are still not relenting yet. Their cognitive dissonance to the truth about masking and what their obligations are under ADA law and “ do no harm” have been quite staggering.

One hospital where I live has made masking voluntary, but the others have not. I was in a clinic yesterday and they are hanging on. They didn't know the emergency was ended
