yes. that freezing of the truckers and their supporters was extraordinary and did require, at the time, an extraordinary order through the legislature.

also likely a premature action that exposed the 'bigger' plans with very little for castradeau to gain from it. fascinating how actually stupid are the people managing this societal takedown. their successes have been mostly from the surprise of it and their having enough power for the mistakes to be, initially anyway, hard to see. the anti-talking law, bill c-63 likewise is actually stupid overreach of the highest order and will backfire as castradeau will be charged on many counts of hate speech! and for being likely to be a future threat! i am looking forward to how many charges he will face.
it is possible that that ability to quietly freeze individual bank accounts 'just because' the government's minions wants to has been quietly snuck in. although, with deplatforming and removal of hospital privileges and malicious lawfare, he is pretty much frozen.
fascinating times. all the best with what is changing in this time of the great apocalypse, the great unveiling.
The technique has been refined in other countries. Instead of a government order with a paper trail the bank can just freeze an account for "suspicion of money laundering" or some other nebulous infraction. It's not a government action so there is no due-process requirement, similar to how the US government influenced social media companies.
The way it happens is the bank freezes the account due to suspicious activity and the law doesn't permit them to tell the victim why the account was frozen, you can even blame it on an algorithm. Then the victim can try and find a lawyer and sue which takes time and money - money you can't spend since your account is frozen - and then before the trial the bank can unfreeze the account and later terminate the client relationship since you don't have a right to a bank account...
