Phil, all the hair went up on my neck when you mentioned that cretin Harari. Years ago I purchased his book "Homo Deus", as it was lauded as "the" book that would bring us eloquently into the new century. I thumbed through it a couple times and it had such as disconnect to me, I thought, this is like a bad episode of start trek and the borg, or maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to get with whatever program he's talking about because it seemed weird and anti-human as hell. I put it aside and thought I'll just tackle this tome when I have the bandwidth and time to focus on it. Fast forward to last week, I was going through my bookshelf and recoiled in horror - there it was. I paid hard earned money for this piece of rancid garbage written by a truly evil person. I threw that thing on the ground, stepped on its spine to break it in half, and dumped it in the trash. The silver lining of this attempted murder of our civilization by truly evil scum like him is that I can't be fooled anymore. And the ranks of us, like the C&C Fam, are continuing to grow exponentially.
