They were pushing that for kids with my oldest as well. Perry in TX was pushing _really_ hard for it. My wife did a little research and just said "nope", but of course they have to keep asking. Looking at the results from those shots, it's a particularly good one to skip.

I did a little research too and came to the same conclusion as your wife. Of course the pediatrician gave me a little pamphlet to read, printed by the pharmaceutical company, touting how wonderful and safe this vaccine was. Riiiigghhhttt... Yeah, no thanks. I'll read non-biased information on it.

The placebos for newer versions HPV are the old versions. This is common for most vaccine trials. No saline. Placebos loaded with adjuvants to hide damages.

Yep. Compared to a harmful shot, this one is not significantly more harmful.

Not understanding. The HPV not harmful? Even the placebos can show harm.

I am saying this from the Big Pharma researcher's perspective. When they compare two dangerous shots that are approximately equally dangerous, they can say the new one is safe, because it doesn't have any more adverse effects than the old one, which the FDA already declared to be safe enough to approve.

What we need is a government program or an agency that would research needless harmful products and stop them from being pushed onto an unsuspecting public and now that I’m thinking about it why not toss in some magic enchanted fairies riding unicorns……?

I’m afraid of government programs, I think we have too many of them, none of them are ever any good. The last government programs, the better. We need to do things for ourselves, be your own doctor.

Yes exactly like them, except instead of protecting big businesses they would protect people.
