Actually, as a pharmacist I will tell you ibuprofen, an NSAID, can contribute to increased bleeding.

My mother trusts her pharmacist more than her doctor.

Twice now, he has prevented her from taking a drug prescription and an over-the-counter medication recommended by her GP.

Extra Strength Voltaren is one of them.

Adorable Cockatiel, Bridget. I had one for a long time. Sweetest old man ever. Got me in lots of trouble. Used to wolf whistle at women at my apartment complex when I put him (in his cage) on the balcony.

Thank you.

My Dublin was 27 and passed this February. He was so sweet and intelligent. I’m still crushed 😢

Doctors prescribe meds without informing about any interactions. I always tell people to ask their pharmacist. People still believe doctors care or will inform them.

Actually, you are absolutely wrong. Lol.

Ibuprofen worked wonders for me. I had extremely heavy periods, so much so that I was afraid to leave the house because my bleed throughs were so heavy.

I was publicly embarrassed more than once because I would bleed through tampons & pads within 30 minutes sometimes soaking my clothes. Once it bled through so badly I had to scrub the seat of my car. I was in constant terror of bleed throughs.

Ibuprofen changed all that. I was able to go out in public without fear. There are many articles online which also refute your claim. Here’s one for you that’s easy to read: https://www.shape.com/lifestyle/mind-and-body/ibuprofen-heavy-period-flow

That sounds so horrific. Glad you found a way to fix it.
