Love your story. I think this is why we will never be able to have a rational discussion about the abortion issue. As nearly everyone views that issue from the lens of their personal experience, or the experiences of loved ones. Had I gotten pregnant at 19 I honestly have NO IDEA what I would have done. I was self centered rebellious brat. It was not until I had my first child at 25 that I really and truly became 'pro-life'. But I was not abused, in a dysfunctional relationship, addicted to drugs, or homeless - all lenses that can color our vision and that we can't understand unless we have been there. Regardless of our stance, I do think giving each other a little grace is in order vs labeling each other and name calling.
