OK, this comment is not going to be well received, but the Holy Spirit has been warning me to open my mouth and tell the truth, ... or else.
Mt. 16:18 -19 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, [rock] and on this rock[ I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Jesus established his Church on Peter - the first in a long line of popes - and He gave His authority ("keys to the kingdom of heaven") to rule over the flock (binding or loosing their sins according to Peter's judgment.)
If you start your own Church, it is not that established by Jesus. And that Church established by Christ and given His authority has definitely taught that there is no salvation outside of it.
"They are in their churches singing more and more loudly to drown out the cries of those in the boxcars heading to their gruesome deaths. Sing with us, they say, and don't worry about all of those other issues out there. They don't concern us. Our job is to focus on God, and to pretend that we can do so without fighting for those He loves, whose lives and futures are being destroyed." Eric Metaxas in his book, Letter to the American Church
I left my church when we were stuck worshipping outside in the parking lot because the pastor refused to use his noggin and let us inside in the AC. For some reason I was expecting a pastor to stand up and question all of the mandates 🙁
"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:20
Screw them. Start your own church.
Worship at home with family.
Similar to home schooling. Which does benefit if you expand it to include others.

That is such a powerful statement!
