The last few days, all this news is leaving me anxious with fitful sleep. I concentrate on my garden and the people I love and my animals. It’s the only thing that makes sense anymore. It's more likely time to revisit the Gospels, and the epistles of Paul. They offer real peace, not a brief moment of escape like a pop song does.
I find the Minor Prophets to be particularly instructful for our time and the Psalms reflective.

Yep, I've been saying the Serenity Prayer upon waking and sleeping. Most of us humans can't control these things aside from voting and praying.
