Jeff, I very much admire your integrity & communication gift. C&C is the morning’s first read. I don’t publish any bio info, but my work requires precise trending analyses. What is the underlying condition we are seeing across the globe? Separation from God, from family. Chaos rules. Who/what is the source of the chaos & a constant stream of lies? Satanic forces. We are in a profound spiritual war, there’s just no other way to explain it.

Legallady4, this article makes sense with the timing. In the early 2000’s, I reinsured a Jackson Pollack painting for $125m. When I got the account I thought for sure I was Rip Van Winkle and suddenly woke up after 100 years with art work appreciating exponentially. Art had quadrupled almost overnight.

One of the things that ‘helps’ keep this looking/feeling legal are the insurance companies. The fact that they are willing to insure the art at the value it is purchase at adds to the credibility and banks will loan money against these assets if an A rated carrier like Chubb insured it. However, I’m only speaking of the ‘legally’ purchased art. If an underwriter knew the art was not real, they wouldn’t insure it. The same thing for wine. Chubb Group is one of the largest writers of high end art, wine and homeowners such as Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and the Beanie Baby dude. They also insured O.J., but I’m getting off topic.

Yep, been saying this is satanic for many months now. No human is powerful enough to cause the entire world to go mad at the same time.

Realized this was Satans ultimate plan since September of 2021. It blew my world apart but realized God had the only tribe that matters. That awakening explained EVERYTHING happening from the first days of the “pandemic” plus the capture of peoples hearts and minds. The amnesia of age old principles and kindness I saw everyday.

I’m trying to wrap my brain around how this all leads back to Satan and not just these people being hedonistic.

I’ll be straight up and tell you I’m naive about this subject. I’m Jewish and was brought up with a disbelief in Satan or a ‘hell’. Don’t cancel me, I’m just being transparent.

Why and how does it lead back to Satan? I’m not saying it doesn’t, but don’t know all the puzzle pieces. I see how they fit together, but don’t understand the Satan thing. I think these people worship themselves, power, money and sex. There are evil people, who are just evil, but don’t ‘worship’ Satan. What’s different about this bunch of nut jobs?

It’s hard to undo decades of religious belief that there is no Satan or hell, but I want to know more.

I feel like the world is closing in on us and we’re finding out there are not many good people on earth. The last 3 years have been an eye opener in many ways and none of them good. 😞

Satan is the father of lies. All throughout the Bible, Jesus talks about Satan and Hell. Satan has lied to these people and led them down this dark path of evil. They may or may not specifically worship Satan but they are following down a path of evil and not righteousness.

If there is a substack author who publishes about world religions, let me know. Randi, your sincerity, your heart is felt. I do know a bit about the subject-the result of having “outsider” involvement with the failed ecumenical movement. It took me to places never before experienced. The writings of Fr. Gabriel Amorth (An Exorcist Tells His Story) answered questions i didn’t know were questions. Also, M. Scott Peck’s People of the Lie, Malachi Martin’s Hostage to the Devil, much more. The result of interviews, meetings, reading all led to the same conclusion: evil is real. Possession is real. The source(s)? A “hierarchy” of “minions.” Never in my life did I consider this existed - I do now.

RandiG, I find it so interesting that you were never taught to believe in Satan and hell as a Jew. In Genesis, the serpent tempts Eve and he is Satan. After the fall from grace, God sets the stage for the Savior (Jesus) when He tells the serpent that "the woman" (Mary) will put enmity between his seed (evil demons) and her seed (Jesus) and that she will crush his head with her heel. Satan's "realm" is Earth. As a created being, he was jealous of man because he was created "in the image and likeness of God" and his envy started a war in Heaven. He chose to not serve God, because in doing so, he would have to serve man. So now, his greatest desire is to destroy man by taking as many souls to live eternally in Hell. He has done this by making humans believe they are their own "god"--they need no other. By removing God (our Guide, Grace and reason for being) from all aspects of public life (even in some churches!), Satan has seen much of his desires fulfilled, especially as humankind succombs to desires of the flesh (pleasure, prestige, power and possessions). Know thine enemy -- Satan and hell do indeed exist. We must battle, through the strength and grace of God.

Wow! Thank you for this.

It’s a learning curve. Believe it or not, my in laws are Evangelical, but we don’t talk about religion. My husband converted AFTER we got married. I was shocked. We don’t have children and it wasn’t important to me. 🤷‍♀️

Here is the skinny on what I was taught in Hebrew school. Jews believe Jesus was a real person, but we don’t believe he was the messiah BECAUSE the Rabbis of the time didn’t believe he was. But what if they got it wrong? 😞

When I went off to college, I was in search of answers. I spoke to MANY Rabbis about this. A couple shut me down when I even mentioned Jesus. Not cool.

My Rabbi growing up, who was a very cool, centered guy, told me Jews don’t believe in hell; only heaven. He said ‘we believe the soul goes through a cleansing process when we pass and we go to heaven after that process’. I have no idea what the process is. 😉 He said “every Jew has a “spark” in them”. The spark is that of the Mashiach (Messiah) i.e. God. I’ve come to believe ALL people have this spark, not just Jews. And....Jews don’t go around thinking we’re “the chosen people”. Chosen for what? Like they care? Look how many Jews are secular! 🤦‍♀️Epstein and SBF were/are both Jewish.

Because we didn’t believe Jesus was the Messiah, we don’t pray to him to speak to God, we pray directly to God. Jews believe the Messiah will be coming and Christians believe he will be coming again. At least we all have hope.

I know this seems very far from Christianity, but stick with me.

The snake in the Garden of Eden is not referred to as Satan is Judaism. In Hebrew, it’s called a “Midrash” which means a story made up to explain something. Adam and Eve didn’t listen to God and were punished. Which is different than Eve listening to Satan, the snake. So, we don’t believe in original sin. Punishment, yes.

I don’t believe anyone is all good or all bad. We’re all human which means we’re imperfect. Someone praying to Satan, and I don’t know the practices of Satanism, thank God (pun intended), but it seems like a pagan religion, because there is only one God and Satan isn’t it. These evil people, I think, are using this Satan crap as an excuse to do what they’re doing. And, who wants to live eternally in Hell? You’d have to be an idiot to want that. Oh, yes, beating for eternity, where do I sign up?

For the record, Jews don’t agree with abortion unless the life of the mother is in jeopardy, incest and rape. But, many Jews are the ones pushing for abortion on demand. I’m not defending anyone; I think they’re demented and very lost people. And I have no idea WHY so many Jews still vote Democrat. As you can tell, I’ve been ostracized from much of the Jewish community. Not just for that, but also for not being a dutiful person and getting jabbed. Every Jew I know got the jab. Just like they got on those railroad cars to go to the concentration camps. My family is from Germany and have family who died in the camps. 😞

You might say, I’ve had many several “come to Jesus moments” over the past 3 years. 🙄

I hope I didn’t offend anyone with what I said. That is not my intent, at all.

Randi, hi!

So the way I understand it is that Satan is the root of evil - all evil. He instigated the fall of man to sin, and we are all sinners - every Jew, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Satanist, pagan, atheist and agnostic. Every human sins. Even Christ’s apostle Paul, who was the catalyst for the Christian church, laments about doing the things he does not want to do. We all do. It is a daily spiritual battle. For me, it can be a minute-by-minute struggle. It is this sin that separates us from our Creator, hence the need for redemption, forgiveness and salvation.

Sin was beget by Satan. Just like God works through humans to share His love and be His light (do “good”), Satan uses humans to inflict harm.

That’s how I see it, anyway. I would be curious as to your take on it! Feel free to share. 🥰 God bless you!

Hi Susie,

I’ve heard all about original sin and the fall of man through movies and literature, but it wasn’t something that was ‘taught’ to me.

Judaism teaches us about Mitzvahs (good deeds). There are 613 mitzvot (plural of Mitzvah). Here is a link if you’d like to read about them.

https://www.jmu.edu/dukehallgallery/exhibitions-past-2018-2019/the-613-mitzvot.shtml

I was taught to focus on the good, to do good deeds (Mitzvah), give to charity (tzdakah), to be a good person (mensch), and observe our holiday traditions of Passover, Chanukah, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is the holiest Jewish holiday; it’s the day of atonement. We repent to God for our sins.

I think we come at the same thing from different angles. Yes, man sins, but we believe he asks forgiveness directly from God on the holiest day of the year.

Since Satan wasn’t taught to me, I never thought of sin connected to that idea. I have always believe sin was driven by the motives of the person. However, there are some VERY bad Orthodox Jews (very religious), so being ‘close to God’ never made me think they were good. I guess I didn’t think Satan made them do bad things. It was their own free will and there will be punishment, if not in this life then the afterlife.

Actually, sometime I think we’re living in hell because there are so many evil people who thrive off of others suffering. Money, greed, power all feed bad people to do evil things. And laws cannot stop true evil.

If we blame Satan does that mean we let the person off the hook? Choices have consequences. If we have free will then didn’t the person and not Satan make the choice? How does that work?

All of you should read The Return of the Gods, by Jonathan Cahn. He is a Messianic Jew and writes about the demonic activity of the Old Testament.

He points out that the same demons exist today and have existed since the angelic rebellion and they just manifest themselves when they have opportunity. Very, very interesting.
