“We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”
My faith in Christ is the only thing that keeps me going through this. That same faith requires me to speak out against injustice and stand up for the vulnerable. Thank you for your encouragement.
But sadly, I have Christian friends who are still totally brainwashed, in fact, one of my biggest disappointments is that my pastors will not speak out on this and I feel as if others want me to be quiet also. Eric Metaxas has written a good book entitled, Letter to the American Church. He says if the church doesn't begin to speak out against the totalitarianism, we are going to look back and find we were complicit in allowing terrible evil. I personally don't intend to be quiet.
Amen to Janice and Anne! To be silent is to be complicit! God has not given us a spirit of fear but of courage! I was an absentee election worker at one of the area nursing homes this past week. The notice on the door to the facility said that masks were required. I ignored it even though my democratic team member complied and not one word was said to me by the staff. None of the patients were wearing masks. The sad thing is that over half of the area facilities require the shot to enter. I am no longer helping with those facilities.

Your faith prevented you from mass psychoses. Two of the elements are missing from the necessary conditions - isolation and free floating anxiety.
With God you are never alone.
He is with us in times of anxiety and we cling to him, not the “Borg” collective.

Amen!
Thank you Janice. With such atrocities being committed daily I look forward to your passages.
Know that I am always preaching to myself, searching the Scriptures to find truth to hang on to! Otherwise, I would lose my mind.
So helpful to stay grounded and know the truth.
