I do recommend looking at mask studies done from before COVID (if they haven't all been retconned at this point) because the findings are fascinating. In essence, they truly don't work in limiting the spread of respiratory viruses. As you noted below, large droplets can be caught by masks, that's true - but they aren't the driving force in the spread of respiratory viruses. Also, fascinating studies done of using masks in surgical theatres with equally unimpressive outcomes. Again, they catch large droplets contaminants, but saw no difference in rate of post-op infections.
As for Asians - they are a masking culture and I don't know if they did it more previously because they felt masking provided a filter for poor air quality or if they were motivated to reduce illness. I really, really don't want to encourage a masking culture AT ALL. It is deeply dehumanizing. There is a reason the CCP can control the Chinese population so easily.
Had dinner with my acupuncture doctorate teacher friend yesterday. The Acupuncture in school is still all masked up, and the Dr. said they are fine with it. I did try to explain about the 'mosquito and tennis racquet' analogy, but they said they are not getting colds like they regularly do so the masks must be helping. Dunno what to say to that, except that IF they DO get a cold, that mask is going to start hurting them in a hurry, and the sad fact that the masks are known to have some bad shizz embedded in them, further enhancing respiratory lung issues, nanos and who knows what else, dioxins....when the medicos (both eastern and western) are this dumb?, what to do....best NAB
Exactly right! Some doctors have actually come out and said that Covid is a lot less dangerous and deadly than the flu, but that is not something that mass media will promote.

Me either!
