Nobody can say anything that “offends” anybody else. Well, unless you are a cross-dressing giant-boob-wearing student or teacher… then, it matters not that YOUR appearance and demeanor offend half of the student body. Or if your daughter’s teacher suggests that because she likes to wear short hair and ride mountain bikes or hike and fish and camp that maybe she is really a boy, and your daughter takes offense. Well, THAT kind of bullying is now okay, I guess.
How can a child brought up with Christian values and concept of sin even survive in a public school. What will happen if said child says 'mommy says that our religion doesnt accept homosexual marriage'. They will probably be harshly reprimanded.
It’s really hard to comprehend why Christian families keep their KIDS in these unfortunate cesspools.
A neighbor was considering homeschooling because of it. But this year her school building has new leadership and things are better. (She works in the school building so undoubtedly knows better than many.). But, what about next year? Or the year after that? And what about when the kids are in middle school?
It’s a heckuva lot easier to ease into homeschooling in elementary school than in middle or high school.
Our family has been SO THANKFUL for our freedom to homeschool. It is a blessing. In many ways. I cannot recommend it enough.
