I know of only one college in this country that has had the courage not to accept federal funding and that college is Hillsdale.
Yes!!! My former church has a huge empty 4 lot property as part of the church. I couldn’t even get into the church for an entire year. So many have left that paying real estate taxes alone will shut it down. I wouldn’t miss it frankly. Make into real affordable housing. But unfortunately in my town big empty lots become rows of storage units—but at least tax money collected.

A church is not the same as a college. They have different missions in this world.
