I was told sometimes that I didn’t know because I “wasn’t watching the news”. Right. Maybe I knew exactly what was happening because I wasn’t watching propaganda? People were glued to TV or were addicted to incessant manipulative fear mongering. There is definitely some psychological aspect to it
