Honestly full disclosure I thought Shapiro was a liberal. I listened to one YouTube video and he didn’t strike me as a conservative. Maybe it was INE he was pushing jabs but I honestly thought he was a democrat. So I don’t have to miss him never followed him.

I was introduced to him by my then-18 YO nephew 5 years ago, who listened faithfully to his podcasts, and he was/is a big phenom in helping young conservatives find their voice. Most of the conservative voices on talk radio are 'old' and not appealing to the younger audience. Shapiro's book, The Right Side of History, which I read in 2019, does a beautiful job of laying out how moral decline and political decline go hand in hand, and how the left has been orchestrating this from behind the scenes for a long time. So yes, agree with commenters saying he may be a little too ego driven to have seen the truth, but he has done some good over the years. When I used to listen to his show on the radio, A LOT of his callers were college students and young people dealing with the cancel culture, and he would give them encouragement and perspective to deal with detractors. Which is why his pushing the jab is even more odious since it's likely some of his audience respected him enough to take his advice.
