Yup--I might ACT like I've forgiven, but I will never forget. Most people I know are now forever in the "do not trust" bucket. Which sucks, and if I were like Emily I would wail about the trauma this is causing poor me, but I'm not, because there is something fundamentally and foundationally different between the two kinds (go-along-to-get-along vs refusers) of person. I don't know what that fundamental thing is or things are, but my eyes are opened and behind my friendliness is an unshakable skepticism, now. Call it the invigorating chill of clear-seeing.

I have a doctor visit (new doctor) tomorrow. I have to go to get her signature on a medical test I need. I can't WAIT until she starts in on the influenza and covid booster jabs. And I am one who used to always (and mistakenly) be first in line for a flu shot. Never again!)

Same here but add that I no longer trust my doctor (and any facility I know of) to administer the requested medication via injection. They lied about it from the beginning, why should I believe them now? They have become such tools of tyranny as to make them very, very dangerous. Killers even.

I totally agree. I can't imagine getting any injection or having to be admitted into a hospital for any reason.
