✝️✝️✝️

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth,

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the weary,

And to him who lacks vigor He increases might.

Though youths grow weary and tired,

And choice young men stumble badly,

Yet those who hope in Yahweh

Will gain new power;

They will mount up with wings like eagles;

They will run and not get tired;

They will walk and not become weary.

— Isaiah 40:28-31 LSB

The book of Isaiah, much of which contains prophecies pertaining to our times, and the time when all things will be restored. The name Isaiah means Yah Saves, similar to the true name of the Messiah, Yahshua, meaning Yahweh is Salvation.

It’s so mind blowing to see how hospitals are so ignorant regarding nutrition. Praying you have an advocate to bring you healthy food! Also that you recover quickly ❤️

Words Beyond Me-Janice Powell's avatar

Thank you. Doc wanted me to come in and get checked out yesterday for some issues after my coil embolization. They decided to keep me overnight. Tests they have done don’t indicate any issue with the coiling. I think they’re going to do a heart echo today. I managed to put in an order for a fairly decent lunch with no margarine. We’ll see. My hubs can also smuggle in something I think. 😃

Bones's avatar

Hospital food is designed to make you want to get out of there as quick as possible

Melissa S's avatar

In addition to hospital food being generally horrible (and I am not a fussy eater), I've noticed that the food offered in the hospital cafeterias in my city for the employees and visitors is generally horrible as well. Often the only decent things to buy are the coffee and water.

Tio Nico's avatar

I have never seen drinkable cophee in an hospital setting.

INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

Any which way Bones. Either on your feet, or in a box.

Karmy's avatar

Are they still serving margarine? Good grief. Butter is much better for you.

Praying for you Janice!

Melissa S's avatar

I think it is the "experts" determining the menu. Registered Dietitians. Still following the old food pyramid, determined by the processed food companies. Not the RFKjr one.

Sue Kelley's avatar

It is however it is driven by doctor prescription of diet which in turn is driven but decades of" best practice" FDA and AMA bs

Amy's avatar

Which actually is driven by the dietitians who are (knowingly or not) driven by the Seventh Day Adventist church and their religious devotion to avoiding all animal foods including butter. Such foods lead one to sin.

I'm not making this up. Check out Belinda Fetke here on Substack. She researched after her husband Gary was attacked and nearly delicensed by the dietitians in his hospital because he started recommending real food to his patients.

Jules's avatar

Naw, I think they just bring in the cheapest bidder and then take a cut off the sales.

Jo Ann's avatar

During a 20 day stay in Neuro ICU nurses allowed my health advocate to use their refrigerator to store meals for me. They had never seen that before. Two other firsts, I received massages and acupuncture while in ICU!

rolandttg's avatar

They know every bit as much as doctors about nutrition

Tracy's avatar

When my diabetic stepfather would be in the hospital, which was often, the carbs they let him eat was astounding. They were always confused why they couldn't keep his blood sugar stable. I eat low carb, whole foods and have done so for years so know what I'm talking about. He wouldn't listen to me and trusted them. Can't lead a horse......drove me crazy. They just kept him sick all the way to a kidney transplant. Idiots all and greed driven. They made a pretty penny from him.

Looks like the current negotiation results.

From Following Jesus Substack:

He is 85 and insists on taking his wife’s hand everywhere they go. Watching, I asked why his wife kept looking away from him, he responded, “because she has Alzheimer's”.

Then I asked, will your wife worry if you let her go?

He said, ′′she doesn't remember anything, she doesn't know who I am anymore, she hasn't recognized me for years.” Startled, I said, “and you have continued to guide her every single day even though she doesn't recognize you?"

The elderly man smiled and looked into my eyes and said, ′′she may not know who I am, but I know who she is, and she is the love of my life..

Jeremiah 31:3 ~ The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you."

Not related to today’s topic. Daily reader, but infrequent poster mainly because I live in Korea where C&C comes around midnight.

Shoutout to the C&C Army, particularly KC & the Sunshine, David Nelson, and rolandttg on the Thur, Feb 12th, BRO-BOTS post by turning me on to Blood Root Paste (marketed under the names of Cansema, Black Salve, and Two Feathers Healing Formula). I just ordered four jars from Robert to begin combating a golf ball sized renal mass (think kidney tumor, of the T3 variety) found two weeks ago and confirmed in a CT Scan. Right kidney.

A week later the urologist suggested the right kidney may have to come out. That was a hard no for me considering lab results indicate good kidney function. Why cut out a good kidney when there are options? Because options are not on the allopathic menu? So now …

My own hastily assembled treatment plan, which my family is not crazy about, is to take Blood Root Paste orally in conjunction with the ivermectin, fenbendazole, hydroxichlorquine, doxycycline, et. Al., protocol described by Dr Justus R Hope in 2nd Smartest Guy in the World’s Feb 9 2026 post. Currently waiting for all this stuff to show up in the mail.

I am an otherwise perfectly healthy 65 y/o, unvaxxed, unmedicated, undoctored, ht/wt appropriate (6’00”, 170lbs) athletic, male. So, did this ever catch me by surprise.

Posters named above, and anyone else for that matter, I welcome your input and guidance as I begin down this journey.

~Mcgeehee

VelvetStitching's avatar

Just out of curiosity - have you had a second opinion on your diagnosis? I find it strange that your kidney which seems to be functioning well has to come out.

A friend's husband just had a healthy kidney removed (last week) because of a possible "tumor" (stage 1) - his physical description same as you.

I was shocked! Is that REALLY the only solution?! Or is there a market for kidneys at the moment? (sorry to be so cynical! It's hard not to be!)

I PRAY God intervene in your situation! May He give you wisdom, discernment, and reliable medical help!

Margot Wooster's avatar

That’s good advice, and I’m joining with you in prayer!

The world has made us paranoid. T3 indicates cancer. See the reply Grok gave I posted, below here now, and how useful it is. Jeff is right, AI can be very beneficial.

Paula Kroll's avatar

According to my best friend suffering from chronic kidney disease, the transplant waiting list is years long. So.

laura-ann Knox's avatar

The market for kidneys (especially since the jab came out) is HUGE. The jab does a number on the cardiovascular system, reduces blood flow to the kidneys. Add in rampant diabetes, occurring at a younger age, and you get kidney failure. The kidneys are blood hogs. Reduced blood flow is the #1 cause of kidney failure -- not, as people say, insufficient amounts of water

Knotgrass's avatar

Ring a ding ding my money is on there must be a market for kidneys. Strange, my father-in-law in 2017 had a kidney removed by the VA. They actually admitted to removing the wrong kidney.

Margot Wooster's avatar

I am praying for your healing, Mcgeehee. Read the Bible and pray while you wait. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to trust in Jesus Christ. As I experienced just last week with the sudden death of my sister-in-law, we are all going to die of something, and sometimes there is no warning at all. All will stand before the judgment seat of God, and it will not go well for those who are not in Christ.

Sodium bicarbonate balances organ functions and the bodies ph. Get the book by Dr. Mark Sircus. Acid is often the culprit of many diseases. 1/2teaspoon on glass of water a day on an empty stomach. With your case must be more.

Abiding Dude's avatar

Good idea, Bard!

FYI: One can take 1/2 tsp of GOOD baking soda, TWICE a day.

Stick with Bob's red Mill. Other brands might have aluminum... even Arm&Hammer.

Prayers for you, Mcgeehee! I got terrible neuropathy from ivermectin, but symptoms were gone within a few months of stopping. Did treat what I needed it for.

Trudy's avatar

How long and how much Ivermectin did you take? Thanks! And did the neuropathy start when you began taking it?

Shelle's avatar

My advice: be careful to test things one by one to make sure your body can handle them before you work up. It's the same principle as measure twice, cut once. Also, get a journal and record your daily symptoms and effects. Human memory isn't the greatest and so the only way to spot the patterns you need to see is to record them as you go along.

Karmy's avatar

This is excellent advice about the journal and doing things one at a time. In homeopathy we are advised to do just as Shelle recommended. Then you can go back and see what works or doesn't and can adjust accordingly.

Ellen's avatar

Yes, and if you are not familiar with muscle testing, and some other simple testing methods you can do yourself, I'd highly recommend! Great suggestion Shelle. WIshing you all the best, Mcgeehee.

@Mcgeehee, now you've done IT! You've activated the C&C prayer warriors chain!! So many prayers are going up for you now! And your family!

Please go about this like others have said; Start one thing at a time. Keep a daily journal - describe your issues, symptoms, and what & how much you are taking for which reason; reactions, if any. Results after how many days, etc.

Wishing you well on this journey and lifting you UP in prayer. Please let us know how you are doing along the way. Wanted to be sure to let you know- we care and want to know if you are having up or down days. Sick or cured. So, please feel free to comment, no matter the topic. <3

Here is AI reply for appropriate questions to ask. Yesterday Jeff talked about the many AI uses, including medical. I wish you all the Best...

Key questions to ask your doctor/urologist (prioritize these for clarity on your specific case):What exact subcategory of T3 is this (T3a, T3b, etc.)? What specific invasion does imaging show (e.g., renal vein involvement, sinus fat, perinephric fat)?

Is partial nephrectomy technically feasible here (based on tumor location, size, and invasion details)? What are the pros/cons vs. radical in my case (cancer control, kidney function impact, risks)?

What is the suspected histology/subtype (e.g., clear cell RCC)? Has a biopsy been done or planned to confirm it's cancer and its grade/aggressiveness?

Has it spread (any lymph nodes, distant mets on full staging CT/MRI/chest imaging)?

What are my prognosis/outcomes with recommended surgery (5-year survival estimates for my stage/subtype)?

Are there alternatives like neoadjuvant therapy before surgery, or adjuvant (post-surgery) immunotherapy (e.g., pembrolizumab for higher-risk cases)?

Should I get a second opinion at a high-volume kidney cancer center (they often handle complex partials better)?

What surgical approach (open, laparoscopic, robotic) do you recommend, and what's your experience with T3 tumors?

Bring imaging reports/CDs to appointments. Consider seeing a urologic oncologist specializing in kidney cancer for nuanced discussion—many centers offer multidisciplinary reviews. Hang in there; getting these details will help you decide confidently.

CStone's avatar

And if they want to do ‘contrast’ ask for the insert that comes with the ‘contrast’ , you may decide not to let them it that in your body.

J Kaz's avatar

I am suppose to get an MRI with contrast....don't want that in my body but also I am told they won't be able to see everything they need to see...I honestly don't know what to do

rolandttg's avatar

Buy Andreas Mortiz' Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush " book, and start doing them to remove gallstones from your liver and gallbladder. P. 335 starts a short section on cleaning your kidneys. Do that too. The liver is the largest , most complex organ in your body. Healthy liver = healthy body. Average level of liver function for

Americans is ~30 %, which most likely will not even show up as a problem, on most allopathic tests. Also , drink high ph water, Kangen water is best. Japanese made. Buy a natural vegetable or animal hair brush and spend 5 minutes brushing your entire body, always towards the heart. Activated the lymphatic system, second only to the liver in importance detoxing your body. Buy some organic cotton cloth (T shirt will work) and organic castor oil. Pour some castor oil onto 4 layers of the cotton cloth and put in on your liver. Cover with plastic wrap (messiness) , then put a hot water bottle on it. Leave on for at least a half hour. You can sleep with it too. Castor oil draws out toxins, and will even pull splinters out. When done, keep the cloth in a glass jar and refrigerate. You can reuse it.

You are taking good supplements, but detoxing is just as important, if not more so, than consuming the necessary enzymes, minerals,, and vitamins,

Can NYC homeowners pass the new property tax onto renters? Or does rent control prevent that?

If the property tax ends up being mostly paid by renters, it will be a good lesson what their vote for Mamdummy has brought them.

SD Scott's avatar

It may be to squeeze out native property owners. Then investors from the Islamic world can turn NYC into EPIC city.

Karen Bandy's avatar

I believe rent control prevents rent increases. The evil landlords are stuck in the middle again. They can’t keep up with repairs let alone pay more taxes. Worth looking into.

Note: I’ve been screwed over by commercial landlords many times in my career so have little sympathy for them as a whole, but taxing them 10% more without a way to increase revenue is ridiculous.

Susan Seas's avatar

Evil landlords trying to make more money ... 🥴 Let's just not pay rent. (they can't evict you, so ...)

Sam's avatar

In the UK, renters pay it.

🌱Nard🙏's avatar

Such a shame. The property tax increases will result in price increases for consumers, and rent increases for renters. Those who own businesses have some recourse, but regular old homeowners will just suffer. Renters will suffer. Pain for everyone. I feel for my friends in the city who rent. They bought into Mamdani hook, line and sinker. And now they’re all going to sink. SMH.

GregWA's avatar

Or...rent control will prevent the tax from being passed on. So landlords will stop investing in their properties, some will sell, but no one will buy. Renters will be truly hosed. Got what they voted for...good and hard.

My daughter is one of those renters, so I am not without sympathy.

🌱Nard🙏's avatar

Rent control is another disastrous idea…rent control sounds compassionate, but it reduces the supply of housing. When landlords can’t charge fair market rates, they build fewer apartments, or they convert rentals to condos, or they stop maintaining properties altogether because they can’t afford to (which is a HUGE issue for tenants). Fewer homes + more renters = higher prices & worse living conditions. No beuno.

Soooo…if Mamdani does cap rent but the number of apartments doesn’t increase, what do you think happens when more people want those apartments than there are units available?

It’s a lose-lose. I’m sorry for your daughter…and my friend.

As you can see…I completely agree…just venting. Makes me so mad.

Not all apartments are under the rent control guidelines. There is also something called rent stabilization. Just a quick look says between 16k-24k apts are under rent control. I have a nephew who lives there and I don't care if he has to pay higher rent. I actually hope it gets so bad that he will wake the hell up and leave that God forsaken place.

The one percent can then snap up more properties and then control everything. So there’s that.

Muslim foreign investors. Count on it.

GregWA's avatar

Good point. Maybe that's why so many of the 1% backed Mamdami?

Susan Seas's avatar

Blame the voters if you believe elections are safe and secure ...

Peter GL's avatar

don't know about other places, but I suspect NYC voters are rabidly blue - at least the ones I know personally

Willing Spirit's avatar

That’s the personal antidotes I hear. These people are willing to make crazy sacrifices to try and hurt Trump, MAGA supporters and Republicans in general.

GregWA's avatar

Look at the red/blue maps of the precincts in NYC...it's interesting how many red enclaves there are. Not enough to swing any election for any office, but it's not uniformly blue.

Susan Seas's avatar

I agree, but I do not believe it is over half of the people. I think the truly insane who believe what these morons tout in pre-election speeches is in the single digit percentile.

SHug's avatar

When only the most rabid 24% actually vote, you get what they want.

Willing Spirit's avatar

They’re willing to suffer a lot to hurt Trump. Major symptom of TDS.

BBS's avatar

Well, New Yorkers have a lot to think about , don't they? Both the rich and the poor. This is what Stage 4 TDS looks like.

DEI hire named Unique is at the leadership helm of the biggest sewage flow in the history of the world, right into DC, the city full of the most corrupt, self dealing pigs at a trough, focused mainly on their re-elections not the people! Bwaaaa haaaaaa haaaaaa! But wait, why did they fire all the white men who were at the helm when there was no sh*tstorm? Heh heh. DEI is truly sheeetty! Just saying.🤪

Abiding Dude's avatar

The DEI sewage flowed into the SCOTUS too...

Name of Kunta-Ketangi... IQ: 50

Hates America, especially whitey.

This…”wait for it…” (yes that phrase is now in a published decision) dim/dem justice saddens me extremely. I don’t believe she would consider a white law clerk, nor a friendship/mentor with her brilliant colleague who is (not DEI but just) a constitutional scholar who happens to be black. I really want to be wrong here. Time will tell.

Trotkyites in a foreign country now control all utilities in the USA.

Could be a warning.

GardenGranny's avatar

Including the liquid carbon dioxide, the unnecessary non-utility, good for none of the people, deadly, corrosive, with non-American steel, to be sequestered 3 miles underground in Illinois, for what good purpose? (Answer: none good) Dangerous flammable one foot wide pipes they’re trying to snake all across the state of Iowa, THE GUINEA PIG PLOT, not even under the auspices of the DOT hazardous pipes laws, like gas and oil—which are a public utility—but governed by a 3 person board of public utilities, appointed by the governor. Flammable. Stops cars from running when there is a leak. Dangerous as heck. Take out I-80 with such a leak and no trucks will run. The people are irate, but nobody in government seems to care. We have fought it as much as possible, but it is gonna happen. So much for our crops when all that CO2 gets converted to Liquid CO2. Safe as a gas, deadly as a liquid. Just as dangerous, or worse, than gain of function research. You heard it here first, and nobody in govt will put a stop to it.

Seems fitting that the poop soup was headed directly towards D.C. 😆

Valerie's avatar

I love the irony of the sewage headed to DC right when the government has specifically shut down FEMA. Oh, the irony is just beautiful. 😍

Jeffrey N. Gratton's avatar

Exactly

You can't make this sh*t up !!

Lydia Lozano's avatar

We can't, but the DC government can.

Roger Beal's avatar

Yeah ... like they need some more dookie in DC!

It’s the like attracts like philosophy.

But do we really know if it's headed towards D.C. or coming from D.C.? It smells like the latter. 🤣

LOVE "poop soup"

Holly Champaign's avatar

Sewer is definitely a better description of D.C. than swamp, which is how Rep. Tim Burchett describes the city. Have to agree a swamp is part of nature, a sewer is a host to toxins, in this case toxic humans.

Feds need to put up another $Trillion to fix failing infrastructure; the DEI Commie-unity and Somalian non-profits can skim off 70+% for reparations or "employee services and training" fees, then spend 40 years and project overruns to get the job done.

What? “Can’t get enough C&C” people and "kooky" in the same sentence? We're SMART. We're discerning. Frequently chortling while reading C&C. Exceptionally good-looking, too, ith coffee mugs in one hand, electronic devices in front of our faces. Humble, too -- it's one of our best features. Humility shines forth from us, like a beacon to all.
