βοΈ CENSURED β Thursday, June 22, 2023 β C&C NEWS π¦
A wild week of celebrity SADS; shots fired in the gender wars; and the best news you'll get all week from the House of Representatives. Plus more in the roundup.
Itβs Thursday, C&C, and good morning! We have a bunch of celebrity SADS to wade through today, plus some very gratifying news to wrap the post, so hang in there.
π *THE C&C ARMY POST* π
πͺ Courageous covid scientist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, along with co-author Rav Aurora, have created a new Substack. They asked me to let you guys know about it, so here are three of their recent posts, carefully selected for Coffee & Covid readers:
ππ¬ *WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY* π¬π
π On Monday, Super Bowl champion linebacker Clark Haggans, 46, fumbled the football of life, when he died mysteriously, suddenly, and unexpectedly β AT HOME.
βAt homeβ means he never even made it to the hospital. Whatever it was, it happened that fast.
The Larimer County, Colorado coronerβs office conducted an autopsy yesterday, but did not announce any cause or manner of death, except to say no foul play was evident. The official status of Haggansβ autopsy is βpending further investigation.β
Itβs a mystery.
Godspeed, Mr. Haggans. βAbsent from the body, together with the Lord.β 2 Cor. 5:8.
π We are just getting started. Another young soul mysteriously departed footballβs mortal field of play yesterday, in the form of the sudden, baffling, and unexpected death of former Michigan running back Mister Simpson, 35.
Oddly, Simpsonβs cause of death was only listed as βpendingβ on the coronerβs report, which identified the reporting agency as Cincinnati Police District 5. Cincinnati CityBeat reported the police department did not respond to its request for the cause of death.
Why would anyone care about the cause of death? Itβs not like thereβs a pattern going, or a controversial medical issue people are curious about, or anything like that.
π Sports Illustrated ran an unfortunate story late last week headlined, βDallas Cowboys Legend Deion Sanders May Need Foot Amputated.β
https://twitter.com/YahooSports/status/1670089352507015169
According to doctors on the Colorado team, Sanders, 55, continues to suffer from blood flow problems in his foot. βBlood flowβ problems. Sanders has had a particularly difficult time, having already been subjected to multiple surgeries and procedures. As an unfortunate result, heβs had his big toe and second toe chopped off, in an unsuccessful attempt to deal with some enormous blood clots running down his leg, from the top of his calf into his foot.
Sanders published a video of the most recent meeting with his medical team. In the clip, vascular surgeon Donald Jacobs warned Sanders during the interview that βthings can cascade,β and advised that the football legend βcould lose the foot.β
Sanders, a stalwart ally of the vaccine during the pandemic, has been up to date with his shots. Fortunately.
Itβs almost like thereβs some kind of common factor with all these mysterious tragedies, but I canβt quite put my toe on it.
π Yesterday, MTV star Jackie Oh (Jacklyn Smith), 32, died suddenly, mysteriously, and unexpectedly in Miami.
Like the others, no information has been reported about Jackieβs cause of death. All we know is the young mother of three was reported to have been in Miami for some cosmetic surgery.
On Motherβs Day, Jackie seemed happy and upbeat, posting on her Instagram: βI do a lot, but being a mommy is my favorite π₯Ήπ€π½β. She added: βGod chose me 3X πI promise I never take it for granted. Im so damn blessed man!β
We pray for Jackie, her husband, and her children. And we cry out for justice. How long must we wait, Oh Lord?
π USA Today ran a shocking story Monday headlined, βRapper Big Pokey Dies at 48 After Collapsing on Stage.β Yep. Another one.
Houston rapper Big Pokey (Milton Powell), 48, died Sunday, after suddenly, unexpectedly, and mysteriously collapsing DURING A PERFORMANCE. The moment of his fatal collapse was captured on video by many attending fans and venue patrons.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife and three college-aged children.
Some of us are old enough to remember a time way back, before the pandemic, when if a celebrity died in the middle of a performance it was international news for a week, with back-to-back interviews with experts, fans, doctors, law enforcement, and family. And back in the old days, journalists were also often curious about the reason WHY celebrities died suddenly.
How times change! Now, it is SO COMMON for young celebrities to die suddenly, without ever reaching the hospital, that a death like Mr. Pokeyβs β even with all itβs dramatic, real-time, multiple-angle video clips β is now only a brief local interest story. Nor is the news anymore interested in mysteries like Pokeyβs sudden death. These events have become so everyday, so pedestrian, boring, and pedantic, that only radical conspiracy theorists wonder anymore what could have shuffled successful celebrities off their mortal coils so soon.
π The Washington Examiner ran a story Tuesday headlined, βNew Emails Show COVID Vaccine Mandates Were Based on a Lie.β
I know, itβs a target-rich environment. WHICH lie?
According to the Examiner, newly-disclosed emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and former NIH Director Francis Collins discussing vaccine βbreakthrough casesβ in JANUARY 2021 β before the vaccines became widely available.
In one noteworthy email, Walensky told Collins that βclearlyβ breakthrough infections were an βimportant area of study.β She provided links to a study discussing the issue and assured Collins that she would keep Dr. Anthony Fauci fully briefed on the issue.
But that the opposite of what Walensky was saying in public. In public β a full two months after the Collins email β she told a national audience that vaccinated people βdonβt carry the virusβ and βdonβt get sick.β And sheβs sticking to that story. In a recent congressional hearing, Walensky doubled down, defending those 2021 statements by claiming they were βtrue at the timeβ β meaning she claims the vaccines DID prevent transmission for the early 2021 variants.
But the emails show that Walensky knows thatβs a lie, and she knew it was a lie in 2021. There were already studies, AND known cases of breakthrough infections, even before the big vaccine push began.
Stanford professor and highly-credentialed scientist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya tweeted that the revelation was βstunning.β He noted that, despite knowing the vaccines did not stop transmission, βthey continued to push vax mandates anyway.β
Mandates were always premised on the notion of stopping transmission. Mandates only make sense if the vaccines protect other people besides the person who took the vaccine. Otherwise, vaccines would merely be an individualβs choice, their own personal risk evaluation. If Walensky had admitted that vaccines didnβt stop transmission, there would have been no logical rationale for mandates.
Of course, in hindsight, the vaccines never made any sense, even if they DID stop transmission. In other words, if the vaccines worked, then anybody who was worried about catching covid could just get the jabs. So they still didnβt need a mandate.
Mandates are even MORE irrational, now we know for certain that Walensky, Fauci, and Collins KNEW the jabs didnβt flatten any curves at the time.
So, if they knew the jab juice didnβt stop transmission, what else motivated them to implement the mandates?
π₯ The debate over the insulting nature of the terms βcisβ and βcisgenderβ continued building steam yesterday on Twitter. One good example was Harry Potter author and well-known feminist JK Rowling, who chimed in, calling the theory of gender identity an βunprovable essenceβ:
Thatβs a neat way of putting it. Letβs see if it fits in anywhere else in todayβs roundup; Iβm thinking it will.
π₯ Swimming champion, former trans-napping victim, heroine, and outspoken biological-womenβs rights advocate Riley Gaines testified in Congress yesterday about womenβs sports. After the pro-trans witness claimed that no man has ever beaten Serena Williams in tennis,β Ms. Gaines promptly corrected the record.
It was extremely satisfying when Riley spoke up and testified, βBoth Serena and Venus lost to the 203rd ranked male tennis player.β She also said that her husband, who was not a champion but swam in college, could still beat her any day of the week.

There was another electric moment when Senator Kennedy asked the democratsβ witness, Kelly Robinson, to explain why we have womenβs sports at all, if men and women are NOT biologically different? Why not just have unisex sports?
Itβs a question weβve all hoped to hear an answer for. And the anticipation was momentarily excruciating.
But it was ultimately disappointing. The trans advocateβs answer was, as you would predict, completely unsatisfying word salad. First, Ms. Robinson refused to simply agree or deny that any biological differences exist between men and women. Instead she just kept spouting marxist, pseudo-intellectual claptrap about social constructs of gender being distinct from biological sex.
Curiously, Ms. Robinsonβs answer reminded us of Ms. Rowlingsβ Twitter comment. Sex β biological sex β is easily provable. If in doubt, just check the undercarriage equipment. But GENDER, as Rowling points out, is a completely βunprovable essence.β Itβs a meaningless phantom, a ghost of an idea. βGenderβ is a perfectly subjective concept that means whatever anyone thinks it means.
βWhat is a woman?β Nobody knows for sure! They circuitously answer, βa woman is a person who identifies as a woman.β And as Matt Walsh has asked until his vocal cords gave out, βyes, but what is THAT?β
Robinson ultimately told Senator Kennedy the reason for womenβs sports was because womenβs sports were βimportant.β Left unanswered was, WHY are womenβs sports important? Especially if men can be women whenever they feel the perverted inclination to don a dress and ladiesβ undergarments?
If it werenβt for circular reasoning, Iβd suspect these trans advocates donβt use any reasoning at all.
π₯ Yesterday, Fox News ran an extremely satisfying story headlined, βAdam Schiff Censured by House for βFalseβ Allegations on Trump-Russia Collusion.β
Finally!
Yesterday, in an loud, fractious, and acrimonious proceeding, the House of Representatives voted to censure Adam Shiff (D-Ca.) along party lines (213-209), for βmisleading the American public and for conduct unbecoming of an elected Member of the House of Representatives.β
Among many other ethical violations, during the impeachment proceedings Schiff notably β and falsely β claimed that he was holding some unidentified and undisclosed evidence of President Trumpβs alleged βcollusionβ with Russia. But the Durham investigation concluded that Schiff had lacked any evidence, and even worse, Schiff knew that he lacked any evidence at the time he made the claims.
Schiff lied to Congress and to the American people, and now becomes just the third member of the House to be censured since the turn of the century. Plus, one of Representative Kevin McCarthyβs very first acts as Speaker was to strip Schiff of his position on the House Intelligence Committee, which instantly made America safer.
https://twitter.com/greg_price11/status/1671654475218427904
Here are the specific charges against Representative Schiff, from the Censure Resolution:
Donβt feel bad for Representative Schiff. He says heβs perfectly content with being censured. βTo my Republican colleagues who introduced this resolution, I thank you. You honor me with your enmity, you flatter me with this falsehood,β Schiff uttered defiantly, as he assumed his required spot in the well. βAnd I stand proudly before you. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful,β he remorselessly blabbered.
Because of his censure, Adam Schiff has now been referred to the House Ethics Committee for investigation. The investigation could potentially result in his expulsion from Congress. One can only hope.
The resolution was introduced (twice) by knockout new Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna. Nice work, Representative.

βShe provided links to a study discussing the issue and assured Collins that she would keep Dr. Anthony Fauci fully briefed on the issue.β
The fox assured the coyote that she would keep the wolf fully briefed on the threat to the henhouse.
βBut the emails show that Walensky knows thatβs a lie, and she knew it was a lie in 2021.β
That is so Solzhenitsyn:
βWe know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying.β
Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement!!! The C&C army is so amazing!!! Really is such a huge blessing! I mailed in my rebuttal to the Texas Board of nursing yesterday. Please pray they drop the orders!!
