One of my favourite book, "Atlas Shrugged" - my favourite "character" in that book - John Galt - "Who is John Galt" is the question - I read that book about 30 years ago and I still think about that question. And the fact the you include (Hee/Haw) is really interesting as well as I an a real country girl who grew up on a farm with horses and listening to country & western music. I grew up with a country & western musician dad so the tube was always set to Hee Haw. I thought it would make for a silly pronoun in a world of utter silliness. I just finished my third time through Atlas Shrugged, this time via audiobook.

I prefer the Amish pronouns of Thee/Thou, but yours are cool too!

If my getting woker workplace ever decides to FORCE me to proclaim my pronouns (it was discussed for our new name badges being a requirement but has not yet happened--pretty sure they all know how it will go with me) I will definitely be requiring Thee/Thou (with correct capitals hahaha) so that thine own self can be true. Thanks!

If forced to proclaim pronouns, I had a few thoughts: "Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler", "Field Marshall", "General", "Lord", "Your Highness", "Emperor", etc. Or, just a very, very long string of random characters that would exceed any systems's character limit (My preferred pronoun(s) can't have a character limit, can they?).

I just go with the classic model: I/Me/Mine

Still keeping ‘I Told You So’ as my pronouns.

Wouldn’t it work better as “you told me so” since it would be spoken by them? Love it!

🤣 Their pronouns, you told me so, walking away dejected, shoulders slumped into their hoodies.

Great book! I read it in 2010 and I think that is when my enlightenment started. I have always been a conservative but that is when I started to notice all of the cracks in our government and society.

I watched hee haw with my mom. Loved it. Part of my memories growing up. Ironically the other day I was singing that song, “Where, oh where, are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone?

I searched the world over, and thought I found true love. But you met another and Pfft! you were gone!” Of course I sang it with my southern accent. The only one I do really well. I have admittedly been reminiscing about the past a lot lately because I’m not a big fan of the world as it is these days. Who can blame me?

For those afraid to read a book, the movie adaptation was fairly good adaptation of the novel, IMO.

I have the Rearden Metal bracelet (copy) from the Atlas Shrugged movie. Interesting how many people recognize what it is when I wear it. We are out there!

I’m a John Galt fan, too.

I’m wondering where he set up his secret world because I want him to let me in!

A great book! Just looking at it would intimidate most of those

T V news addicts.

What was amazing about HEE HAW is that most of those in the know media geniuses predicted it would flop.

I was raised on a 75,000 acre cattle ranch. I still wear boots and a felt hat.

I just wish I had kept the small herd of cows I started in high school instead of wasting the money they brought to go to the wrong college.
