Regarding all social media: I read this somewhere , but I don't remember where or who to give credit to but here it is: "So you 're not mad at those who lied to you for years, but you're mad at me for proving they lied to you."

That's consistent with the loonies thinking. You know - like the unvaxxed causing the vaxxed to get covid or putting them at risk. 😉

So ridiculous. I am the same person I have always been, they are the ones who are forever altered. My sister-in-law said she didn't want to be around "the unvaccinated" 2 years ago and practically hocked a big loogie on the floor after she spewed that drivel. As I sat there in all my unaltered glory right there in her living room, putting her at so much risk because I was the same as I have always been. So gross. *insert evil laugh here*

Wonder what happened with that new mother to be, if she was vaxxed, more than likely her baby died, especially if the baby wasn't born when the mother got the vax, that is what has been happening; the vax is also to increase infertility in those who received it, thanks to Gates.

An email I just received from a national medical organization yesterday just encouraged us to encourage everyone to get up to date covid vaccines… spewing CDC talking points. One of the talking points was that unvaccinated healthy children under 2 were at very high risk of being hospitalized in the ICU (it was an insane number and probably a perversion of the “with” vs “bc of” covid). I’ll never forget the summer of 2021, Israeli data already was showing majority hospitalized patients were vaccinated.

I'm surprised it's still on youtube. Aaron Russo is the famous producer and businessman who then produced this documentary. The 13th amendment was passed in 1913 to make the income tax legal. But it wasn't passed with the full house because it was done Christmas eve.

Expand full comment

The 16th Amendment is the one in question. It states, "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Then there's the language in Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution which states, "No capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken."

A capitation tax is a poll tax, "...an imposition which is yearly laid on each person according to his estate and ability." (Bouvier's Law Dictionary, 6th Edition)

Read: Article 1, Section 9 says no individual (capitation) tax *unless* it's the same amount for every individual (in Proportion...). 16A says Congress can tax incomes, i.e., implied is: impose a capitation tax. It's critical to understand that no provision of Article 1, Section 9 was ever repealed. So both of these laws stand.

If you're scratching your head, seeing as the two provisions on the surface contradict one another, the TRUTH is, that they can both indeed stand.

16A has been adjudicated to assert that the "taxes on incomes" is an excise tax. The language in the Amendment disguises the genuine limitation.

What's an excise tax?

I have to cut this short saying that it's impossible for a comment post to do justice to the illegitimacy of what Americans believe to be the income tax.

It's heavy reading, 200+ pages, all of dense, revealing, engendering cognitive dissonance and anger if not fury once you understand what's been perpetrated, but trust me, it's worth the effort. The book title is, Cracking the Code: The Fascinating Truth About Taxation in America by Peter Eric Hendrickson.

Go to the author's website, https://losthorizons.com/CtC/FrontMatter.htm

*edit: Fellow C&C reader @Gabriella took the time to go there and report the news that the book in its entirety is now available to read online at no cost. The above link takes you to a page updated by the author in August 2023 (as of this writing). From there you can read the book on the website. The website is a trove of information but better understood in the context of having the book under your belt. Some people don't pay income taxes. All perfectly legal. Some gyrations and persistence required, unofficial help available at the website, but so worth it. SO worth it.

I went to both private and public. It really depends on the teacher and I had some bad and good ones in both. Parents that put their kids in private schools care about education so their kids usually do too.

I also taught in both private and public schools. When the parents care and support their children they do well, but when they do not care the children do poorly.

It is that simple.

When I taught writing at a college--before I left bc mandates--many of the students (majority hispanic) had never been taught anything substantive about paraphrasing. Many had never read a whole book in the precious two years. Even after weeks of lessons and practicing, I was stunned at the amount of intentional plagiarism and cheating I encountered, and the amount of times I had to report kids.

What I found out though, was that the University (CA State one) did nothing. The kids got a talking-to. The only other 'punishment' was that I could give them a zero on the assignment (which is 59 points less than an F!). Many teachers got demoralized by this and did NOT report; others were fully woke-indoctrinated and went with the "but they never even had the training, poor things" route. Even though we were all required to give them the training. The "And how bad is plagiarism, really? Look at what the internet has done, you can't fight is anymore.... I would later see kids I had confronted and reported on the Honor Roll and think, hmmmm.

I somehow sense the falling of the Ivies was done on purpose. We identify as Americans with our once-great universities, and with many other things like Bud Light or Target. The Deep State targets these things for purposeful destruction so the identity of America itself falters. They don’t want us to have a country to identify with. It doesn’t serve their plans for the Great Reset.

Expand full comment

I see it the opposite. The Ivies were the mechanism by which LGBTQWTH+!-? and things like DEI were pushed into western society. From the "elite" universities into the F500 and legal/consulting/prof svcs/healthcare arenas where they could be foisted on everyone by their employer, their consultant, or the doctor. In a direct way, the Ivies caused the Bud Light and Target disasters.

IMO, never losing control is the main goal of the social planners / resetters. They really do not care one bit if it's socialism or fascism or highly regulated capitalism that is espoused, so long as they maintain control. They are not particularly ideological, except that they think the average person is a rube who clings to guns and Bibles (as their false demigod once let slip). That means in their minds, they need to control people b/c people are too stupid to manage themselves.

So, now that they see their control slipping due to the overreach of leftist policies - and they haven't been able to arm wrestle it back with all their shaming, censorship, and lawfare efforts - they're reversing course to try to retain control. IMO, it will work, sadly, just as it always has b/c people are tribal.

True in some cases, but in this one it's the pro-Israel lobby through the Manhattan Institute trying to bully every major institution in the US to get behind Israel despite world condemnation of Israel's genocide.

It's nothing more than a suppression of free thinking and free speech in the US, carried out by Congress, which held the hearings and is completely bought and paid for by the pro-Israel lobby, and deep state tools like the Manhattan Institute.

As an American I don't want people telling me who I can support and who I can't and what I can say and what I can't.

The three academic institutions under attack -- Harvard, MIT, and Penn -- were making that point in the hearings. That's why more than 600 Harvard academics have signed a petition supporting Gay.

So these three women presidents are supporting free speech in the US.
