Oh "the Credentials" manuver, Comrade. So "Who" is Your George Washington???
Btw, I don't have "hate", You use such Proggie teminolgy, maybe You are where "Conservatives Are". Keep voting Bushie, I'm sure that will work just fine. Got Musket??? Hopefully yes, because you/me/we will need them as the Millions of Illegals swarm the country.
Why do Rs stand around in circular firing squads while ultra left march in lockstep to permanent tyranny? And btw, you played the snooty educated card first, not me.
You're the one shooting at Trump by preambled comments. and I'll ask Again, Counsellor, "Who" is your George Washington???
To answer "your" question, democRats are Bolsheviks and will always march in lockstep.
Got musket? because that law degree will become expensive toilet paper when the 401k's and SS etc go up in smoke. OMG that can't happen "Here" in the USSA!!!
I remember the WWII USSR Vets asking Yeltsen about their pensions after the fall of the Soviets, and he responded that as President of Russia he had nothing to do with USSR/Soviet pensions.
I'm edumencated in history for what it's worth, not that much btw. I spit a lot though.
Since you asked the question, I’ve seriously been trying to think of “my” George Washington. Sadly there isn’t a GW today. In recent history I would have said Ronald Reagan (God rest his soul) except he signed the terrible childhood vaccine act which lead to where we are today with the pharmaceutical industry. Nobody is coming to save us except for the Constitution and that’s what it was designed to do if we insist on leaders who respect it. Probably naive to think that way though. My spouse finally brought me around to supporting federal term limits which has a snowball’s chance in he** of happening. Term limits would stop some of the severe corruption we have in Congress - which stops the multi-national corporate fascism/globalism to some extent. Again, probably wishful thinking.
I think we all agree with that. It's very frustrating and frankly, the whole situation is making us all testy. And with everything being digital, we can't even have a good fisticuffs. If we can't start to turn this thing around next year then I think the Gen's prognostication is going to happen. I like to be an optimist but historically it is a fact that once a Marxist regime takes power, they do not leave.
I've advocated term limits but that is closing the barn door after the horses got out. This Gov't/Corporate fascist monster is out of control especially since they have joined the European cabal that is intent on exterminating the majority of the planet. Now there is real hate. Hate for all life.
The USG has no accountability to the American people. There should be complete transparency to the American people. There is NONE. And there should be specific remedies and penalties for fraud, embezzlement and other traitorous acts against the American people. None of that was written into the Constitution. The Anti-Federalists were right. Patrick Henry refused to attend the Constitutional Convention when invited by George W. and said he smelled a rat in Philadelphia.
Now it is too late to close the barn doors. The Bolshevik rats have not only taken over the barn but are in the process of burning the barn to the ground along with all our liberties and all our wealth and hard work.
We have one line of defense left against the Bolshevik national gov't if we lose to the Bolsheviks next year. We will have to stand up against the communists at the State level if we are going to fight the tyranny that has taken over the Fed Gov't. And it's going to take all of us working together.
With you Phil! It’s why I love DeSantis (have no affiliation whatsoever other than living in Florida over 20 years). It saddens me the rift in the conservative cause. I hope I don’t contribute to that. I genuinely love reading CC and seeing your thoughts and those of most everyone else here! Praying for God’s will in all this.
Here's part of a comment I posted Wednesday and it fits right in here. This is part of an issue Doug Casey wrote:
The problem is that the people on top, who see themselves as a distinct class and have huge amounts of both power and money, figure that they have the right to give orders to the plebs.
Can you take any kind of political action to change the people that are in control? I think the election of 2020 showed that that's probably pointless this far down the road.
Can you reason with these people? Probably not.
We're dealing with a psychological problem, not an intellectual problem. Therefore, the situation is not really open to solution from reason and factual arguments. Recognize that the only reason to try to change things is not because you will succeed—that's unlikely—but because it's right.
Recognize, however, that the downtrend has been in motion for decades. It's still accelerating and likely to keep accelerating until it reaches a real crisis, which will be very unpleasant.
All of the Anti-Federalists. Available in books titled, The Anti-Federalists. Have tissues; reading them is like being dragged over cut glass - it hurts, and I cry, for what might have been.
1 - The Constitutional Convention of 1787 was a coup. (The comparison to the days when Israel desired to have a king such as the surrounding nations had instead of the government God gave them is obvious.) The participants closed the doors and held the convention in secrecy and all participants took self-maledictory oaths of secrecy (which I might add is not a Biblical thing to do). They acted outside of their authority as state representatives and overthrew the Articles of Confederation that was formed during the Revolutionary War of 1775 to 1783. This was resolved after much debate without resorting to war.
2 - Seventy four years later, the proto-nazi regime of Abraham Lincoln waged unlimited warfare upon half of America when the southern states seceded from the Union in protest over unfair taxation (shades of the Revolutionary War). The horrific event of the so-called Civil War changed the USG from a republic to an imperial state. From that time forward, the USG embarked on an unending quest for empire.
3 - After 159 years of imperial growth, the USG was taken over in a Bolshevik coup by subverting the elections of 2020. The process of subjugating the American people to Marxist rule is on-going as I write.
That pretty much outlines American history. Beginning with 1775, we have gone through what is essentially four distinct political revolutions: the Revolutionary War, the Constitutional Convention, the Lincoln war of northern aggression and the Bolshevik coup of 2020. The final chapter to the last event is yet to be written.
I’m a big believer in natural law and inalienable rights given to us by God. Yours is a deep question that goes back to the founders. It was probably hard for them to envision a day where it would be so wildly profitable to have a long career in Congress. Most of them did their duty and went back home. Perhaps the answer is in fact term limits, which limits the incentive to build the power base fed by massive corporate interests. The founders also knew what it was to throw off an unjust government where they had little to no representation. I don’t personally believe we are to that point yet and I hope I never see it. To me, in current times, we are tracking more closely with pre-Revolution France. We have an extremely polarized, angry populace. People are desperate. It’s not good. This is why it’s even more important to respect the rule of law, old common law traditions, and of course the Bill of Rights. When we start trashing those things with impunity we have stepped into a dangerous era. I probably haven’t answered your question to the best of my ability but will think on it more.
Enjoyed the give & take. You did answer the question, just in different sentences.....

You are definitely a ‘Bushie’. As is your slimy decepticon boy, DeSantis.

I am with you. From now on, it all hard ball.
Ps: I need to re-read some Patrick Henry

I just felt like I need to verbalize this.

Very interesting.
OK, next question, "What" saves the Constitution???
It's only ink on parchment afterall.
There are the First 10 Amendments .... that Require Action by the Citizens to breathe them into Reality.
Got Musket??? we/me/you are "allowed" by Natural Law to Defend Ourselves, btw.
George Washington wasn't "perfect" either.
