I’m not retired and Saturdays are usually my shopping day.
Anytime before 10 am is great, whoever picks the music they play gets two thumbs up, I can get anyone to talk with me, no one is in a bad mood and the lines are super short at the registers.
I get to church very early. By the time I leave at noon, I'm always starving. I decided to go to HEB after one day—no parking place. I left and had a peanut butter sandwich. I will never make that mistake again 😂
Lately, since covid, I'll order what I need online and let them bring it to my car. Spending less that way too. I do like to go in however when getting my produce and fresh stuff.
Me too. One rule for Saturday—stay away from the grocery stores.
And Costco or Sam's Club.
😂😂😂 Fact! Tim Walz needs to visit a real war zone on a Saturday in Costco!
I will add when college students return to campus. Restocking Target, Costco, Sam’s takes a week.
I walked into a Home Depot and wondered why all these people weren't working! Then I realized it was Saturday....🤣🤣🤣
Yes, indeed. I always grocery shop on the weekdays. Fewer people and the shelves are better stocked.
And Sunday! Amen.
Too peopley 🤣
Peopling is exhausting!!!
But Saturday nite is great at the groceria!
Oh, dear God, yes! Everywhere, really.

Same way on Sunday, after Church. (SC)

My HEB is about 15 miles down the highway and a once-a-week highlight whether I need anything or not = : )

I would spend way less money by not going in. Why would a household of one need a gallon of olive oil? 😂😂😂
I could use a gallon of olive oil in about four months by myself.
Well, you still have to compare, don't you?
