Lisa, I haven't forgotten! Franklin Graham said that and he ended up in the hospital with heart problems. Our denomination's mission organization required that all missionaries and their children over 16 years old be jabbed. I was so upset that I wrote to them and expressed my concern. Their reply indicated they had relied on wisdom from doctors (stupid doctors). We normally give very generously to support missions, and have done mission work ourselves, but gave only a minimal amount that year. I know one family for whom this requirement was the last straw, leading them to partner with a different organization. We just learned this week that close friends are leaving their ministry in Central America because the young wife and mother is so severely injured from a booster shot she took last May. One of our elders shared info about her injury in his Bible study class, but assured people such injuries are rare. I offered Peter McCullough's book to him, but he declined, saying it was divisive and he didn't want to get involved, but he didn't mind getting involved by urging his class to get the booster! I have lost respect for many Christian leaders. They're like those in the German church who remained silent while the Jews were being killed. Eric Metaxas speaks to that in his book, Letter to the American Church.
While it would have been nice if our church stood up, I am just super thankful they were not pushing people to get shot up and thankful they stayed out of it and didn’t guilt trip people. Also, about a year in (I think when they could see the charade) we opened up our doors with optional masking and they said we would never be back outside. Thankful.
