Donna, today is the first day in a week I have felt productive on the job, so you are not alone.

I learned a long time ago to turn off my phone during working hours. Honestly, I'd never get any work done if my phone was always blowing up with "breaking news," texts from friends/family, app notifications, etc. I know this is very 70's behavior, but the information overload is a killer for me, and I was a lot less stressed in the 70's!

I didn't even know until 7+ hours after the fact that Cheatle resigned, and I'm no worse off for not knowing. :)

Well I am in the middle of a project where I am making a lot of phone calls. So I am stuck with leaving my phone on in case I get a call back. But yeah if I am in a research/report writing mode I do tune out. And the only notification I have turned on is for severe weather on my weather app. Actually have very few apps on my phone, I do most things on a laptop. But 3 emails and they are all out of control.
