That's a lot to unpack today. The Trump trial - sadly, I expect him to be found guilty by this jury even though no reasonable person would do so. I'd be shocked if it turned out otherwise - and then the TDS crowd will be fired up. Yeah - overturned on appeal, but it shouldn't come to this. The raid news is just infuriating and that sort …

The raid news is just infuriating and that sort of thing shouldn't happen in this country. Again, the TDS crowd is unhinged on this, when any normal person would think "this is way over the top and foolish".
The hail thing I can comment on - we _do_ get "softball sized hail" at times. It's not common, but not unheard of, either. Those are some of the "cover your cars as best you can" moments. I do know that in Texas, Guidestone used to provide insurance for churches and pulled out, leaving a lot of churches scrambling for property insurance. Our friends go to a small church and their premiums increased significantly and also brought in some fun extra clauses like "professionally installed CO detectors" for buildings with no gas. The "professional installation" in this case consisted of paying an electrician $500 to peel the backing off some sticky tape on a $20 CO detector and stick it on the wall. 5 minutes of work, but hey - it was "professionally installed".
Klaus stepping down just means someone worse and younger can step in. I'm not greatly encouraged by that. It's long overdue, but I doubt too much will change. The WEF still has way too much influence for a bunch of unelected people.
I understand the Portlanders just voted to cover all their solar farms with aluminum roofs to protect against the possibility of grapefruit sized hail.
Actually the went organic, and all the solar farms are now covered with a soy based (biodegradable) glass/see through look alike. Unfortunately, it's edible by natures next level of life, so likely will need replacing annually. Starting to make wind turbines out of the same materials to 'save' the environment. LOL

Genius! Gotta cover up those vulnerable solar panels to protect them from the sun and bad weather!!
That’s a given!

It would be scary if they really were that stupid.
😂 I think they are on to something!
"....someone worse and younger can step in." Like Michael Bloomberg
Noah Harari fits the bill
I think possibly his daughter.

What is DJT being charged/convicted with? How can one be convicted of a charge that has never been clear?
Meghan Kelly and her guests have been deep diving into that nincompoopery.
PS, Go read the NYT article's 'comments' and you'll confirm for yourself the comments you provided. Can you spell 'psyops'. Crazy stuff.
