But there's always the wonder if the other kind can really even feel pain.

Same with me Kathleen. (Well, not the 2 different states part.)

So frustrating because it pleases me to ♥️ like posts that are most meaningful to me or I strongly agree with and support.

Living in denial has gotta hurt. And there are alot of miserable looking people.

Bandit's avatar

Nope. I don't think so. The vast majority of people I know are in denial and they're way happier than I am. They still have "their futures" ahead of them, whereas we know our futures will be vastly different than we thought. Threats from the government for telling the truth, possible incarnations for same, forced vaxxes, property loss, due to new policies or vastly increased fees, on and on.

Edit: OOPS! Incarcerations! NOT incarnations. 🙄

I whole heartedly agree. Almost everyone I know is in this category. I listen to them talk about their future plans: trips, career moves, relationships, and remember what that joy felt like just a few years ago.

I still prefer the truth of reality and keep looking UP.

They only appear happy. Depression arises from under the surface that is so inexplicable that they keep it hidden from even their closest relationships. Peace does not exist without the peacemakers.

Ignorance is bliss. Most people prefer to remain blissfully unaware of

the catastrophe that is coming down all around us. Substack seems to be the one place where most people have an awareness of what is happening, and all are rightfully concerned. I don't know how to wake up the Facebook crowd. I have tried, but failed to inform them.

Does anybody consider the religious implications? If there is a judgement day, how does it make sense to judge a person who is nothing more than a mindless, drone follower, incapable of thinking for themselves? Might as well be passing judgement on a rabbit or squirrel.

From a Christian perspective, the judgement day that will come to all after their death will be for their entire lives, not just this period. God says that "...since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." Romans 1 So, God can be seen in everyone's life, thru nature, our bodies and their functions, etc. But, some/many refuse to see. Could they? Yes, but it would require them to humbly search for real truth, not just an echo of what they think. This is clearly a summary and not comprehensive, but, of course, rabbits and squirrels are incapable of rational thought, while the vast majority of ppl should be capable. Have you seen the video of Yuri Bezmenov talking about how to demoralize the United States thru propaganda? CHILLING and we are living in the effects now. I think this is why do many are incapable.

The scary thing is that the Bezmenov interview was done in 1984....40 years ago. So much of what he said was already in place and would happen is now happening.

Yes, judgement for their entire lives, not just this period. But do you think the drones turned on a dime in 2020? Millions of us recognized it as a scam, it was obvious by about March 2020, by the time the two weeks was extended. Sure, they fell victim to propaganda, but whose fault was that? It was obvious propaganda, for God's sake. Rabbits and squirrels may not think rationally in the same way a minority of humans can, but I love'em. They seem to have a leg up on us, best I can tell.

What's even more important is that after being judged, everyone who is in Christ will be forgiven for their sins and failings. Ultimately the question will be whether each of us has chosen to trust and serve Him, even if we screwed up badly by giving too much trust to people who lied to us (as just one example).

This is true, but the indoctrination at public schools and then the media had done its work and prepared them to follow whatever they were told.

a person who is nothing more than a mindless, drone follower, incapable of thinking for themselves

but the person just described has made DECISIONS along the way to remain in that mindless unawares state. We ARE all responsible before the God who made us to know Him. Ignorance is no excuse. None of us are mere "victims of ur circumstances".

Find a bible and read Jpb's story. Or how about that of Moses? Or how about Peter? Look at his cowardice on the night Jesus ws taken prisoner, He had walked daily with him three some years, and slithered off into the shadows cursing and swearing tht "I do not know the Man". then flip over a few ore pages and read in Acts chapter two, that same man... how he stood up and spoke to the crowd.. and no, that crowd was no friendly gathering of twenty or so. When he was done speaking three thousand out of that crowd (how big was the wee lot of them? Perhaps ten thousand?) turned and began to follow that same Jesus whom Peter had, not two months prior, vehemently denied with oaths and curses.

We are NONE OF US with any excuse. Creation itself screams of the existence and glory of he One who made it all.
