And still are. Our local hospital system is still requiring masking. I had to go there this week and every person-except me and hubby were dutifully wearing the mask.
So is ours in MI. I have had to go frequently as patient advocate and i fight it every chance i get. I just wrote letters to the heads of Ascension over their nonsensical mask mandate and provided copies of the latest Cochrane Review abstract ‘Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses’. I also hand it to the doctors offices as the dutiful staff tells me they would indeed have to deny care to an elderly over not wearing a mask because hospital rules, ya know.
The only language is resistance! I have to go to the doctor today. We’ll see if i get kicked out.
My veterinarian requires masks. I told them I was not going to participate in this masking theater. So I had no mask and the complying sheeple did. Serves them right for being such doormats.
Dec '22, at a branch hospital UTMB (Houston area) I'd been going to Dermatology 3x, and not once did I mask. It wasn't until I was leaving after my final appt did I notice a sign regarding their masking policy... They "required" masks on all patients, guests, and staff. My unmasked mug did not get harassed once, and saw many employees and patients that also weren't masked. Not even my doctor who I'd seen 3x and was masked said a thing, nor was my "bat juice" status ever asked. There were MORE masked people than unmasked, but I did find it kind of darkly humorous when an elderly man wearing a mask came in and struck up convo with an elderly, unmasked man----masked man opened with explaining that his wife makes him mask 'cause little kids are petri dishes. 🆗😑😅 I chuckled out loud, because I'd left my young, homeschooled children at home because I was more worried about the "bat juice" recipients shedding on them right before Christmas.
Complying sheeple are the problem. Too many caved.

Good luck today at the doctor's office. Let us know how it goes.
Like the idea of having copies of the Chochrane study on hand. ;)
So is mine in Jacksonville, Florida.
Were you "harassed" at all for not wearing a mask? Just curious.
