Benjamin, please don’t interpret what I said to mean that I don’t feel compassion for the Ukrainian people, I very much do! There’s lots of funny business going on and it has from the start. This is a different world that were now living in and it’s not playing by any of the rule books of the past — nothing makes sense, people don’t matter, there’s an agenda we don’t know about. We can’t (in my humble opinion) continue to finance a war (if indeed, that’s what we’re doing) at the expense of American lives with our own world that we knew crumbling down all around us. We can’t sustain this level of spending on Ukraine. We’re not being told the truth and we never will be.
