He isn't a socialist. He embraces capitalism and in fact uses it as an example of how to clean up the environment. And having a clean and healthy environment doesn't make you eco-fanatic, it makes you intelligent because it is what supports all life on the planet. He talks about reducing pollution and restoring soil health.

He actually had Dane Wiggington on his program to discuss geoengineering. I've never heard any other POTUS candidate talk about this issue.

Johnny-O, you clearly know more about RFK and his platform, so I will defer to you. I'm curious, does he advocate for a replacement of fossil fuels with renewables? For me, that is one of the tell-tale signs of eco-fanaticism. I want clean air, water and replenished soil. I have no beef against any of that. I just don't want humans painted as "the problem" and therefore the elimination of them as "the solution." I may be attributing things to him that of which he is not guilty.

He has changed his tune on the climate change narrative. I don't see him ushering in some green new deal crap. Solutions are actually quite easy and have been implemented all over the world to regenerate healthy ecosystems. We just have to quit poisoning everything and engaging in poor farming practices. I grew up on farms and this is something I do have knowledge in. When the water can make frogs change sexes, is it time for a conversation about cleaning up our water? I would say so. Big Ag is pretty damn powerful though, and all these mega multinationals are owned by the same handful of companies, and ultimately vanguard and blackrock, who Trump intends to bring into his inner circle. The outlook is not good.

Disclaimer - I don't really trust Kennedy either, but at least he talks about issues that nobody else is touching.

I listened to RFK Jr on a podcast called Meateaters. Two guys who are big hunters and have all kinds of recipes on preparing all kinds of meats. RFK Jr. Spent the first 10 minutes explaining how he got mercury poisoning, misdiagnosed as a brain tumor, from eating fish he caught from being “out on the water” every day. He lamented how sad it was his grandkids would never know the joys of fishing because a comprehensive scientific study found dangerous levels of mercury in every kind of fish. Then he went on to say he had gotten Lyme’s disease from ticks and being out in the woods, EVERY DAY.

It’s a wonder he had time to do anything else. I like RFK Jr, but he’s still Liberal and until he calls all this Green Deal, the money laundering it is, I’m not buying what he’s selling.

Actually he has and also that it leads to tyranny as a way to control people. His "green" platform consists of promoting regenerative agriculture which is a way to restore soils and eliminating government subsidies on energy and letting the free market win. He is a free market capitalist. But he also wants corporations responsible to pay to clean up or eliminate the pollution they cause - that will also affect their profitability.
