I am slowly resuming my Substack work and wanted to call everyone’s attention to the urgent October 15 deadline for submitting comments opposing REAL ID (digital ID). I just published this post providing more details about a new proposed rule, which they’re trying to sneak past us during this chaotic election season. For those of you who missed it, please also see my piece honoring the memory of Dr. Jackie Stone, a heroic frontline doctor in Zimbabwe who was subjected to nearly four years of lawfare (hauled into court 27 times) on frivolous charges for the crimes of saving lives and defending medical ethics. Jackie took her life a week ago after losing her job and being deprived of her ability to practice medicine:

I’ve dedicated my poem “When Tyranny Is in Vogue” to Jackie and hope it will help prevent others from succumbing to a similar fate. This poem succinctly outlines the methods by which philanthropaths, tyrants, corporations, and governments smear, silence, and eviscerate truth-tellers.

As each day dawns I try to think of all of those suffering through the loss of loved ones, remembering to thank God for their presence that will remain in our hearts forever. May the good good Lord hold you ever closely as you navigate such loss. May you feel His presence ever more susinctly with the passing of each day.

I don’t know how you do it. I haven’t your strength.
You never know how much you have until you need it most.
For me, I have no other option than to press on. I know that’s what Michael would want, and I have an even greater sense of urgency and purpose than before, given the fleetingness of life and all I am driven to do both for my own mission and preserving Michael’s creative legacy. The philanthropaths, tyrants, and cruelites would like nothing more than for me to lie down in self-pity, so all the more reason to keep going until my last breath.
I’m so terribly sorry for your loss, Margaret. Thank you for all you do and for calling our attention to these precious lives lost.
