Tell her to never allow her doctor to scare or pressure her into vaccinating. Always politely tell the dr that you will not do any procedures on this visit and would like to go home and research. Those “well-check” visits are the most manipulative and coercive appointments. The doctors take advantage of tired parents and start the fear campaign. They’ll tell her things like- if you don’t get the prevnar vaccine, your child will get pneumonia. I got my child the prevnar vaccine and my child got pneumonia. Tell her to contact me if she needs the other side of the discussion bc her pediatrician won’t be giving her full informed consent.
An oldie but a goodie is this book by the late Dr. Robert Mendelsohn:
“How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor”
Encourage parents to forego “well baby visits”, from which those who are vaccinated leave never to be completely well again, and never to reach their full potential.
Additionally, if a pediatrician is one who has vaccines on-site, and who vaccinates his patients, time to find a new doctor.
For those in NY, Dr. Larry Palevsky is a pediatrician who does not vaccinate, and hasn’t for some 20 years. We need doctors like Dr. Palevsky, who don’t poison children, destroying their health, development, independence, fertility, and longevity.
Yes. I would say forgo the well visits. It's like going to bank when you don't need to withdraw money etc. I think now they are gathering info to be used against you. If this scamdemic taught us one thing is to NOT trust the doctors and medical community.
Every new parent should read/watch ALL the Laura Hayes Exclusive Editorials and videos on Age of Autism. Most comprehensive and thought-provoking material on vaccination! Thank you, Laura.
Excellent book! His chapter on fevers changed me forever, took away all fear and helped me to understand the only two times a high fever can be dangerous: when overheated from an external source, such as being stuck in a hot car, or from food poisoning. In all other cases of fever, the body has a shut-off mechanism to keep it from going too high, and is a necessary function to kill off pathogens and viruses. If only all new parents understood this, would save so many issues for those kids being pumped full of pharmaceuticals to bring down the fever (creating a whole other host of issues).
I agree. Find a functional medicine doctor. But sometimes this is too big of a step for parents who think a pediatrician from the hospital’s recommended list is needed. So first plant the seed and tell them what to expect. They’ll be more receptive when they see the playbook. Always encourage switching to functional med doctors, though.
Laura Hayes is an excellent source as well. No one better who knows how to truly frame this critical issue. Wish I would have known Laura earlier in my life.
My pediatrician's office no longer treats unvaxxed children. Pediactrics Associates... We haven't been back since before the plandemic. Fortunately we have not needed to go. I went to our chiropractor to get a sports participation permission slip.
Good riddance with regard to not returning to the willfully ignorant, pridefully arrogant, possibly corrupt pediatrician. If he is okay with harming his patients on a regular and frequent basis via vaccinations, then he is likely okay with harming them via pharmaceuticals, unnecessary testing and procedures, and plenty of terrible advice.
Not sure which state you live in, but when I lived in CA, I did a little bit of research and quickly discovered that a parent could opt their child out of the sports physical by writing a letter to the principal of the school stating “I do not consent to a sports physical for my child.” Check your state’s laws. So often (almost always), schools lie to parents about what is required, be it vaccinations (no shots, no school), or sports physicals (must have one).
Doctors just follow orders like police and teachers etc. I was an ignorant teacher 25 yrs and quit over the masks. Then I started researching and realized the world is much worse than I thought.
Absolutely agree! Be prepared for the fear tactics and they do not back down from a simple no we aren’t doing that. They push the flu vaccine so hard and act so shocked when you say no. They say oh wow it’s going to be a really bad flu season are you sure? Yes I’m sure. Then their whole mood changes because they don’t get to make extra money and put another tally mark to collect their office’s bonus for hitting the next target. We have seen the documents now showing this, it’s real, it’s not a conspiracy theory.
Not an option in Florida. Not sure what state you live but even private schools here require a visit before school starts. My daughter is in a private school and there’s no way around this, we never go otherwise and would never go voluntarily. Home school would be the only way to avoid entirely.
You don’t have to see a pediatrician. See a family doctor who is respectful of your views, then you’re on record as seeing a doctor but avoid all the pitfalls of those pediatric “well” checks.
At this age (9) it is not the pediatrician requiring us to come. we don’t go for well visits. We go once a year only for the form required by the state of Florida department of health to attend each school year.
But there is no requirement to see a pediatrician. Any doctor is sufficient. We used a family doc for years but now only see a chiropractor. My kids (all teens now) have never seen a pediatrician once.
Lily - I found this from the Florida Dept. of Health stating the health exam is ONLY for the initial entry into a Florida school (NOT needed annually). I'm hoping this is correct - would love to see where the state of Florida requires an annual health exam - if so, what a crock! "Students in grades prekindergarten through twelfth grade who are making their initial entry into a Florida school must present a record of a school entry health examination completed within one year before enrollment." https://www.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/childrens-health/school-health/enrollment.html
I live in SO FL and use a chiroprator for the wellness and sports check up requirements. Back in 2019 Pediactric Associates refused to accept unvaxxed children even though we had been taking them there since the 90s.
I got religious vax exemptions from the local health dept for them too and it was pretty simple.
I’m in FL. We went to “well child” visits but I found an integrative pediatric practice and they didn’t push the vaccines the way they are normally pushed. They even made a video on their website years ago that they didn’t push flu shots the way cdc does but I think they removed it. They offer them at every visit and recommend them but they work with the patient, if someone wants to spread them out, get only certain ones or not to get at all. I’m not sure how they are now, we haven’t gone in a long time. It was Miami Beach Pediatrics. Dr. Bruce Eisenberg. What I can say is they respect your decision, this was my experience with them. I think the best thing to do is to find a provider that’s not a complete zealot when it comes to this issue
Yup. School sends out an email in June saying, the Florida Dept of Health requires a Florida School Entry Health Exam every year and preferably should be submitted by august 1 before school starts Aug 21. Also it says must have a current Immunization form on file or an exemption form.
This must be new in last 4 years. I taught in FL for 30 years and raised 5 kids in public school. They have never required a yearly physical. They do require shot records.
They are pushing their control too far!!! So glad I'm retired and my kids are grown.
Had to do a little research on this. Florida's Health Department said:
The state of Florida only requires school physicals for the initial enrollment into a Florida school; however, we recommend that your child receive well checks annually, even if your child appears completely healthy.
If your district is requiring it, they are overreaching state requirements.
It is a waste of time for my healthy happy child, that’s for sure! they call it a health exam. And all the schools require that particular health exam form to be signed by the doctor. I guess it could potentially help children in abusive homes , or who are malnourished, who would otherwise fly under the radar, to get the attention and help they need.
“or an exemption form”...hopefully that means exemptions are readily available there? I know in our red state it was very easy to obtain an exemption based simply on “philosophical” grounds- just a phone call to the state dept of health in our capitol city and then submitting the exemption form to the school nurse. Each year, everyone I talked to or dealt with was incredibly laid back and friendly about it - no questions or attitude whatsoever, I don’t think they thought anything of it at all? This was many years before covid but I’m hoping the same is true today for parents here who choose to opt out. I wish you the best!
The well-visits, besides being scheduled around the vax schedule, are meant to convince you that the doctor knows your child better than you do. Just setting up compliance mentality for the future.

Just went and bought this for my daughter. Hopefully she will read it, and I definitely will. My grandkids matter too much to me.
My absolutely favorite book while raising my children!!!

You’re better off without that pediatrician.
Absolutely!

Yes ignorance...

The world is like Sodom and Gomorrah.

OR skip the “well child” visits entirely. They’re only designed around the v-ax schedule. We never see docs unless absolutely necessary.

Florida requires a form annually?! Or just at kindergarten?!

Wait, you’re forced to go to the doctor?
One of the many intrastate problems that Governor DeSantis is too busy (now) to address.
Nailed it 🎯

Well I think Jeff needs to look into that. I believe that’s unconstitutional!

It really should be an opt in system not opt out. I don’t like when you have to jump through hoops to be “allowed” to disagree with the state.
And the state pays for this mandatory examination?
The well-visits, besides being scheduled around the vax schedule, are meant to convince you that the doctor knows your child better than you do. Just setting up compliance mentality for the future.
my daughter shopped around to find a pediatrician for my granddaughter who wasn't vac-trigger-happy. I'll send her your post for moral support
