There is literally no such thing as "public health". That's verbal collectivism. There is only the health of an individual.

The "positive yet asymptomatic" got me. The teats were a false and a money makers, ordered in 2018. "Asymptomatic" = Not SICK! UT they wanted everyone scared of everyone else, like a bunch of "Typhoid Mary's" just waiting to infect you.

Yes and no on public health. Sources of water, how wastes (human, animal, and garbage) are disposed of, whether the air or sea/lake/river is clean, etc., all affect populations, not just individuals. John Snow removing the handle of the contaminated Broad Street water pump during the cholera epidemic in London is an example of affecting the health of a population. The USDA's food pyramid and consequent messaging to the public seems to have made the U.S. much more obese, since the base of it was many servings of carbohydrates daily, discouraging protein and fats. Unfortunately, the field has turned into 'the brownshirts of medicine,' finally not even hiding their tyrannical tendencies. They really love to tell other people how to live and what they must and must not do.
