Your sister is 100% correct! I mentioned the vibe to my bf. We went to Safeway last week, and you can cut the vibe with a knife!

My bf said, “Even the lettuce does want to be here.”

We adopted one head of butter lettuce for wedges.

We’ve been VERY AWAKE for years...

I am sure the butter lettuce is thankful. That is a terrible awful so true analogy. Safeway in Redding is particularly terrible.

I only go to Safeway in an “emergency” (like Vermouth for martinis-lol!) I was refused service for not wearing a mask and refused to wear one. The sales clerk literally grabbed the one item out of my hand while paying for it, and told the clerk at the register not to take my money. The manager even backed her up! The behavior was appalling. I’ll never forget that.

Go to Trader Joe’s. They will not require the mask nor will Sprout’s. Sprout’s was sued and lost. I went into one Ralph’s during the whole masking stupidity, and the manager asked me to leave after I was at the checkout. The people in the store (it was busy) were yelling at me to leave. Sadly, they carry one thing my teen likes to eat, or I’d never patronize Ralph’s again. I’m in a city in Los Angeles, so you can guess how blue it is. People are waking up here and fighting back (although not the masks and shots 🙄), even Democrats. They’ve managed to unite a good cross section of the community with their stupidity.

I’m a few miles outside of San Fransicko (I’m a 3rd generation native born and raised in SF)! The coastal community is NUTS! These people are clueless about freedom. It’s actually quite sad and rather pathetic. And if you really think about it, it’s scarier than hell. I’ve been in CA since 1963 and Reagan was Governor of Commifornia! How far this state has fallen. And it’s such a geographically BEAUTIFUL state!

I’m 4th generation Californian, but I grew up in the Central Valley. I know exactly what you mean. This was not just a beautiful state, but a great place to live. Now? They have screwed it up completely.

5th generation CA native. My g-g-grandfather was one of the original 10K pioneers and his name is in a book by The Native Daughters of the Golden West. Family still there. I am in Idaho and Florida now. But, I did just leave a condo board meeting here in FL, full of implants from all over who have various "expertise" from their retired fields and are actively imposing their will upon others. Honestly, I don't know how people live in cities with all these people. Freedom stealing is actively going on and shaming and bullying is real. I don't know how you all stand it, but hats off to the city dwellers, suburbanites and association associates; I am about ready to pull the ripcord on FL and this kind of living and I have only been here 2.5 years.

That’s really cool, and I’m sorry, although I had nothing to do with this mess.

When Californians say they are going to move to another state, I always tell them to leave their politics behind because, if they are Democrats, it’s their policies that created the situation they were escaping.

Where in FL?

By the way, one of my ancestors is a founding father of Oregon. I wonder if that would qualify for The Native Daughters of the Golden West?

All the people that we know who left are Conservatives (WY, TX. FL, ID). I’d leave if I could. I wouldn’t have any idea where is safe…for now.

Oh Sadie Jay, I understand more than you can imagine! It’s interesting that you mention The Native Daughters. My grandfather’s twin brother who died in WWII, is on a California Native Son’s memorial in Golden Gate Park! My father showed me that when I was a little girl. I do know that some condos have very “tyrannical” rules and regulations. I think it’s a power trip for those that are used to control. They simply transfer their control to their neighbors. Lol!

Interesting! And...the control freaks have ratcheted it up 200 notches lately. Thanks Covid!

I disregard their tyranny. I was FORCED into retirement after a 23 year career because I refused to be tested, and subsequently the jab. My bf was fired after 17 years. I use the tyranny as a learning tool. I now know who is trustworthy, who has integrity, etc. I also see how many mentally ill people are in society who I wouldn’t trust with a cotton ball-lol! They’re dangerous in a civil society, where freedom should be paramount.
