I’m ordering one today!! I’m in Oregon and it’s still pretty bad here. Have to wear them in all medical offices, pretty much. My hormone/gyno doc said ‘no more’ and a few med/facial places have dropped them.

But, I was in the grocery store yesterday and the number of mask wearers was ramping up. Old people and young adults. Lots of car wearers.

We termed out Komrade Kate Brown but now have Komrade ‘Kate’ Kotek.

(tina Kotek). 🥲

I'm in Commiefornia- so I feel your pain. Gruesome Newsom has the nerve to claim we are the freedom state. Grrrrr

Such a corrupt tool.

We’ll be down in your state in about a month, need some warmth. We chose it cuz it’s closer than Arizona 😉

Newsom is an idiotic fool or a foolish idiot, take your pick. But he's got a D by his name so he gets elected by other fools.

I’m sorry 😞 I’m from Oregon. My friends and family are stuck….ehem….still live there. I’ve been back twice since we left in 2020. Both times I just shake my head at the number of people doing this still. And, I hear tampon lady (kotex) is worse than comrade brownstain kate. 😞

Years ago a great many obviously leftie Californians started retiring and moving to Oregon. I know of quite a few. This must be why Oregon got so radically left. As for Washington state, I lived there for a year in 1969-70 and it seemed normal back then.

It started here in Bend during the first boom in the early 90’s. They brought their brat kids with them and petty crime increased. Our first house was under 70k.

It’s funny, but we said ‘those rich Californians are coming up here and building McMansions up on the butte for $350k’. Now those same houses are 1.5million or more and are being sold to trust fund babies and dot com folks. All liberal of course. This new group of transplants are not all that nice. Our town has changed.

We keep hearing the conservative Bend is now liberal Bend 😞 It’s so sad to see Eastern Oregon change to a liberal place. I know people in Prineville who say that is still mostly conservative…. For now 😞

I think it changed to 50-60% liberal about 5 years ago. Probably worse now.

Went to the tile store yesterday and he had Epoch times for free on the counter! Glad I chose to do business with them. I was going to rib him and ask if that was his subtle way to wake people up. 😉

That’s exactly what happened! Californians moved up to Oregon and drove the house prices up to astonishing prices and the whole landscape changed. Mail in voting started, small towns exploded with population, farm land disappeared, and we’ve been under the commie thumb of leftists ever since. So sad from the once very small town I grew up in. Now if you want to buy a house there good luck and bring $600,000 with you to make an offer on a small house with no property.

Not even sure $600,000 is enough anymore here.

You were lucky to escape. While my folks are alive I’m stuck here. It’s still a long drive, but better than driving to an airport, flying and renting a car, and then driving two hours. 🥲

Yep, I think Tina is worse. Not sure we’ll ever be out from under the emergency. Meanwhile she’ll spend us into oblivion. Will we ever get our kickers, you know, our own money back?

I understand. My parents are up there in age. My sister is in the same boat as you. I apologize to her often that she is now stuck there until our parents pass on thanks to us getting out.

We made that drive to Commifornia many times. I totally get it. Safe travels to you and I hope you have a nice time!!!

I do know we are fortunate. I thank God everyday for getting us out. I know not everyone can just pick up and leave. It’s not realistic. Our escape was a miracle in itself.

You’re lucky you have a sister near them. And so great you got to move.

My brother is near, about 1-2 hours away, but he’s, not worthless, but not that great. (They’re all in WA). He’s generous with gifts which they don’t need 🤣

There is a bunch of us Oregonians in the C&C Army!! I would love to have a meet up next time I come visit. That would be so much fun I think!

Yes. I do realize how fortunate we are. I’m more the caregiver so if something happens I’ll have to get there and stay as needed. But at least my sister is there for emergencies. They are very healthy so that’s the only reason we were able to even consider moving away. If they had failing health issues I could’ve never left them. It still weighs on me though.
