“C&C’s comments section is one of the best on Substack.”

I’ve been reflecting on this from yesterday’s post. I truly believe of all the Substacks - Jeff Childer’s C&C posts AND the comments are overwhelmingly informative. I’ve learned so much from the C&C army.

This Substack is the one thing I read religiously. I no longer watch the news and rely on THIS Substack’s daily roundup and comments to inform me.

I’m grateful to you, Jeff, as I’m sure the rest of the C&C army is for this Substack. I never thought I’d want to read an attorney’s POV, but you’ve help interpret so much for us the past 3 years. It’s been invaluable.

Thank you from a very grateful fellow Floridian!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️

Karkar's avatar

I feel exactly the same way. If I only have a few minutes, Jeff’s Substack is the one I read and the one I will share to friends as well. The summary and wicked humor all wrapped up in a tidy package, love it. Plus I like the comments and comraderie of the C & C army. Feels like a community.

randall stoehr's avatar

And a slice of humor to boot!

daiva's avatar

'A slice' strikes as a skimpy euphemism! 😁

ETA 'Tis more of a structural mesh holding the whole together 🤸

randall stoehr's avatar

Like peanut butter and choke cherry jam on a slice of toasted sour dough bread!

Fixed it. Hahahaha

Melanie Eccles's avatar

Yes, yes, yes, - had that with my eggs this morning while reading. There is no better comfort food than peanut butter and jam (spicy red pepper jelly for me) and toasted real sour dough bread. Yummy!!!

randall stoehr's avatar

I like life on the Wild side with over easy Eggs /avocado/and salsa.

The sour dough with PB/CCJ/ is almost a dessert. (Hint...eat your carbs last)

My nutritional tip o the day.

daiva's avatar

Maple syrup snivels neglected in cobwebbed corner 😭

RunningLogic's avatar

Mmm chokecherry jam 😍 Don’t hear about that very often!

randall stoehr's avatar

Helps when you have the tree and the grandmother.

She's great 👍

RunningLogic's avatar

That’s awesome! Kinda jealous 😁

Susan Banks's avatar

Yes but at 6 am to have such hard Belly laughs that take the energy I got from sleeping last night is making me want to go back to bed! Jeff is an amazing writer!!

randall stoehr's avatar

Good thing Jeff doesn't post his findings at 3 am. You'd become a night owl.

daiva's avatar

I rely on the C&C and Pirate Wires combo to guide me through the tempestuous whitewater of daily news 😊

Dr Linda's avatar

Thanks, another excellent to read.

Jon Stephenson's avatar

I've never heard of pirate wires. Is that a substack, a website, a podcast?

daiva's avatar

All of these things 😏 A product(s) of exquisite author collective; be sure to check it out --> piratewires.com 👌

Cyn's avatar

Please provide link to pirate wires!

Jon Stephenson's avatar

It appears to be a substack. I went there and sampled the latest article. Thoughtful and nuanced, but I'm not sure I can buy into it.

"I took the shot, twice, and consider its underlying technology to be an exciting technological breakthrough..."

I reflexively don't trust anyone who says he took the jabs without the statement being immediately followed by unequivocal regret and mea culpa.

daiva's avatar

Strict purity tests narrow the epistemic horizons immensely—to our own detriment, nobody else's 😏

PS Did you miss podcasts there? 😲

Natalie's avatar

I feel absolutely the same way. Not only have I learned about podcasts and important studies from the C and C army, I also found out about some things that have had a direct impact on my life, like breast thermography and AlgaeCal supplements. Thank you, Jeff, because you've attracted a large army of intelligent, informed citizens through your wonderful daily posts.

Jackie J's avatar

Now I too know about thermography. Thank you!

STH's avatar

Just do you know, thermogram did NOT find my cancer. I had invasive lobular. And it is very hard to detect. I would not rely on thermogram alone. Ultrasound would be wise to add.

Natalie's avatar

Thank you! What's your opinion on mammograms?

StraightMail's avatar

It's not possible to like💗 this comment enough. With that said, I have sent C&C's newsletter to many family and friends, but to my surprise (and frustration) it has gained little traction. I deduced that many people don't want to be informed, and also lack a sense of humor. Lawyers' should thank Jeff for bringing newfound respect to their profession. P.S. I'm a Californian...don't be fooled by the press as there are many [many] conservative-minded people still here fighting the good fight.

Susan In Kansas's avatar

Speaking of respect, I was just reflecting this morning how much I used to trust and respect medical professionals, and now I’m taking advice from lawyers, who I never trusted or respected in the past. It’s almost comical.

Kitkat's avatar

Conservative Californian right here. Yep, there are a lot more of us than people think.

I have also shared C&C with many friends and family. Most have joined in, but a few refuse to even acknowledge anything outside the MSM narrative. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

LMWC's avatar

Same way in Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and even western New York. All kinds of people fighting the good fight.

Melanie Eccles's avatar

I totally agree - this is the only one I read every day and it's the only one where I read the comments and I too have learned a lot from the C&C Army members. It's an awesome community. Have an awesome day, Cheers!

Emily M's avatar

I completely agree! I read C & C every day. Jeff is my only news source these days because I love the dash of humor and any other news source makes me depressed. Thank you, Jeff!

John Bugni's avatar

Randi, I wholeheartedly agree. My cable connection failed yesterday, but with Coffee and Covid I think I'll be fine without it. May have to watch golf on my phine, though.

John Bugni's avatar

That was a phoney typo...

Barnjai's avatar

This column and the comments have done much to improve my outlook on life. Plus, I love getting suggestions for TV shows to watch. One of our favorites was the Jeff recommendation, “Goliath” on Amazon. Season 1 was excellent, season 2 and 3 were difficult to watch but we had to watch them all to get to the best . . . Season 4. It was AWESOME! The language is perfectly awful but the story is riveting. We also watched “Rabbit Hole” as suggested in several comments. I almost had a heart attack during every episode but it was really good!

Elaine Elias's avatar

I agree completely! Jeff reports and I inderstand! Since Tucker was fired I have been left with doing WORDSCAPE

RandiG's avatar

Elaine, I’ve been watching reruns of Ally McBeal, Mary Tyler Moore, Quantum Leap and West Wing. I hate watching the news now. It’s all propaganda. 🤬

MakalekaAnne's avatar

Everything RandiG said and more. I sometimes get behind and will delete all emails but not Coffee & COVID until I read them. Thank you so much Jeff for your wonderful explanations and your point of view on all the news! Keep up the great work!

Here's a short report on the latest on the Ukraine counteroffensive. Maybe we can help Mr. Childers tell a bit of truth:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsddvZVwEc0&t=2s

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

Jeff is more interested in pushing a pro-Russian propaganda point.

Iron Horsey's avatar

Mr. Childers wrote about others and said they were not being intellectually honest.

Not sure why he insists on going further and further to be a Putinoid lackey. Sad.

Susan Stephens's avatar

And are y’all pushing a pro Ukrainian propaganda point? It’s a mess that she ever have begun. Someone said it was avoidable by one sentence; no NATO for Ukraine

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

Nato would mean peace. Notice how Russia has invaded Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine but not Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, 4 nations they claim still belong to Russia as colonies.

Had Ukraine been in nato there would be no war because Russia can't handle Nato. They can't even handle Ukraine right now.

Fact of the matter is Russia expected a short war and the west to simply roll over and accept it. They even declared Victory on day 2 of the war on February 26th, 2022.

Don't beleive us, check the facts. Russia lost their flagship to Ukrainian missiles in april of 2022. They have been struggling and finally took bakhmut and soledar after 10 months of fighting. That's not something that happens to a first rate military like Jeff and others claim.

And right now the offensive that Jeff said wouldn't happen is currently happening and making good gains and driving Russia back.

stealthmouse's avatar

You are the biggest retard on here. You are so stupid that you don't even realize that the CIA and MI6 WANT the Ukraine proxy war. Seriously, are this incredibly stupid, or do you have some money on the grift?

Iron Horsey's avatar

The only propaganda you cited here SusanMc is Putin's. It's a shame so many fall for it.

You actually believe that Putin invaded Ukraine because he thought some day it might submit an application for NATO?

SMH. The latest reason is that Ukraine invaded Russia and Putin had no choice. Try to keep up.

AusYank's avatar

So if Xi put troops, missiles, tanks, and bio-weapons labs across the border in Mexico Sloppy Joe would do nothing...mm-k.

(Actually Joe B would probably build the bases for Xi, but that's bc he is a degenerate scumbag traitor).

The key is to review the uncensored sources of information. US/NATO were entirely unprepared because for 30 years they have executed a counterinsurgency strategy and capability. Instead of an actual battlefield adversary they faced only roadside bombs, goat herders with flintlocks, and homemade missiles from Hezbollah.

And I'd note that even in those cases, the goat herders and Hezbollah won.

Add that to the fact that their job is to prolong and lose wars, not win them and go home. That would be a complete disaster for their P/Ls. Kind of like pharma making you healthy: a catastrophe.

So I'm forced to endure the thought of my father spinning in his grave, with my hard earned dollars going to fund soldiers with actual swastikas on their arms. He was Dutch, wrote an anti-Nazi play, and ended up in a Nazi prison. But I suppose you'll deny that our "ally" is nothing but a bunch of Banderites?

All to protect the infinitely corrupt wannabe dictator in the White House and his financial crimes. A man who hates America and everything she stands for.

BTW what you find in the uncensored information stories are war crimes so horrific as to be almost unrepeatable here. Children, body parts, and UN NGOs. Hey and there's an app where you can buy whichever form of torture of captured Russian soldiers you want. So sorry, ANY defense of this evil is abhorrent. We need PEACE, which means we need TRUMP.

stealthmouse's avatar

How's it going, Ukraine traitor douche? How's it feel to know you're killing thousands because Biden is a traitor? Got any eightballs to sell?

TSumm's avatar

My youngest is fighting her own mini-war with the jab-pushers on church youth choir and missions tour this week. (In San Francisco, which I know has turned itself into an huge missions field, but I think an idiotic place to take a church youth group.) Our welcoming-and-affirming-to-all church apparently draws the line at the great unjabbed. She’s being excluded from a performance at a hospital that required proof of vax from every singer and from several missions sites. No stigmatization there! I told her to just think ahead to the day 5 to 20 years from now when she still has her fertility, hasn’t died from a stroke, and probably won’t have anything to do with most of those blue Kool-Aid drinkers anymore, but I’d appreciate your prayers this week too as she learns a big lesson about the way this world works.

Sunnydaze's avatar

Time to give the boot to a church that would go anywhere that vax is required and exclude their own members who didn’t jab???? I would question them! They are ok with this? 🤔 And all of their youth and members going are all vaxxed? 🤔 Is your daughter standing alone in this? If so, it says enough about them too eh?

TSumm's avatar

Oh, that day is coming — she wants to finish out senior year at the church she grew up in with her friends, which I understand. It has changed a lot since we joined 25 years ago, as has Dallas. Her wanting to be there is the only reason my husband and I haven’t left yet. Re: standing alone, not completely— I was told there would be a “handful” of others she could “hang out” with during the hospital performance. She’s literally the best singer in that choir, so they’re all missing out by excluding her.

Sunnydaze's avatar

I understand that. Being that you’ve gone there for so long…I would suggest letting the leadership/Pastor know why you are leaving the church when you do so. 🤷‍♀️ These woke pastors need to hear how badly they missed the truth. It does no good to just stop going. They need to be face to face with the truth. IMHO.

I do hope your daughter manages to have a good experience with her friends.

TSumm's avatar

Thank you. 💖 That is exactly what I plan to do.

Truthseeker's avatar

I have come to see these types of situations as- God is moving your daughter away from these people and influences… and maybe if you frame it this way… she can see it as a personal blessing in her life. God has something else in store for your child.

We had this experience at our church recently. My middle school son refused to be confirmed. I was very upset by this, all my other kids were confirmed there, our extended family is all there… well during the pandemic our church became a ‘reconciling church’ - all in on the whole LGBTQ agenda… now I am very grateful that this influence is not in my child’s face, him being indoctrinated -through the church

Jeff C's avatar

There are numerous Bible passages that condemn causing division within the church body (as opposed to calling out clear sinful behavior). Assuming it's a biblical church how can a pastor justify dividing the body into vaccinated and unvaccinated? What is his biblical authority for doing so particularly in light of the Bible's clear prohibition on doing this?

If the pastor cannot justify his actions with unambiguous scripture (compared to saying something nebulous like it's what Jesus would have wanted) then I would think that's a pretty clear sign that it's time to move on. The signs are everywhere, we need to be firmly grounded in God's Word and attending churches that uncompromisingly adhere to it.

Pastors cannot implement things that violate God's Word because it makes them feel good, they do not have that authority. I'd give him a chance to explain himself but if it doesn't pass the test of scripture then it's time to separate the wheat from the chaff.

S.P.H.'s avatar

Good advice Jeff. End times and the apostate church, read all about it. Test as the Bereans did. If I may, work on a relationship with Jesus, then find a church that re-enforces that relationship.

I'll add one more bit of advice for everyone. Purchase Bibles, the paper kind. I prefer New King Jimmy. Once AI starts re writing scripture all truth will be lost.

Sorry for the hijack Mr. C

The road to Hell is paved with the skulls of erring priests, with bishops as their signposts” – ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM.

TB's avatar

Indeed. Even if the pastor genuinely and seriously believes someone is wrong and that the jabs are a good thing, there are verses clearly saying to accommodate to the "weaker" (as he sees it) brother, whose conscience does not allow them to partake (originally, of "idol meat"; today, of vaccines).

ClarabelleVonH's avatar

I can understand that. My husband and I watched our youngest son's high school graduation on a Friday and moved out of Oregon at 7 o'clock the next morning. We practically sang all the way across the country.

Sunnydaze's avatar

😂 😂 I remember that feeling! 🙌 🙌 What state did you land in, if you care to answer? Florida for us.

ClarabelleVonH's avatar

Tennessee. We love it. Florida was on the list, though!

Sunnydaze's avatar

👏 👏 Love Tennessee too! Congratulations!! What part of Oregon? We were in the Valley between Salem and Portland. Couldn’t wait to get out.

JOAN FURLONG's avatar

We left New Jersey 5 years ago and made it to South Carolina. Love it here.

Momcat's avatar

we left a denomination we went to for over 30 years because they made a hard left turn. We never regretted leaving. In fact, we found a terrific, Bible-based church north of Dallas that is a 2 Timothy 3:16-17 church. My only regret is that we didn't leave sooner.

LiveDreamRepeat's avatar

This occurred to me while reading this thread - what if - she's strengthening relationships on this trip- ans then when she leaves the church - she encourages others to do the same? God can absolutely use her (and you too of course!) to lead others out of that confused church. ❤️

daverkb's avatar

Please try to re-think some of this. Like ... what comes first. Glorification of God or our worldly wants? Does the end [singing] justify the means [staying in a Woke or semi-Woke Church]? And then this the example set that it is okay to 'cut corners' on matters of principle. Thus, it's not simply a matter of what 'they're all missing out on by excluding her'. It is more what you are missing out by staying stuck in the mud of bad compromise.

We have all been there where you are with things like this. Most of us have done things we are not very proud of, to say the least. And it appears to be impossible to get through life without having made bad decisions that one later regrets. And it is double, triple hard to make the hard decision trusting the Lord that better things are yet to come after having made the right difficult choice.

I wish I could have said this in a better way, but as it is ... I am not sufficient enough to do so.

TSumm's avatar

I see where you’re coming from and if it were just me, I would have left long ago. But after everything my child’s generation has had taken from them in the name of “even one life,” I’m not willing to alienate her by forcing her to leave or skip choir tour. She’s a minor, is aware of the choice she’s making, and is s already paying a price as it is, for choices other adults in her life, including myself, are making.

daverkb's avatar

My best wishes to you all. It is a difficult time to be living in ... and with thanks for the reply.

Truthseeker's avatar

You said it perfectly and I agree.

Cynda Renae's avatar

I totally get it, but maybe she would be better off not being indoctrinated by a church that bows to the enemy. I don’t know exactly where you live, but Pastor Dustin Bates of Church 1132 in Dallas area is on the board of our church here in SoCal. He actually preached at our church a few weeks ago and brought an awesome message about The Battle Beyond the Battle, when Elisha’s servant could only see in the natural and couldn’t see the armies of heaven. Our church Oceans, only closed for a short while and never closed again and have been meeting in tents ever since our governor became Dictator Newsom. The church has exploded ever since and last month we had the largest water baptism in US history. Having the pastors who aren’t afraid of man has made a huge difference in my life.

Natalie's avatar

We left a church we had been going to for 10 years...2.5 years ago. My daughter was 15.

I understand you're wanting her to get to finish with her friends...but it's clear that the church and its influences are NOT on the sane page as you and your daughter. And you may want to reconsider the exposure to that v. Getting to have fun. Pray on it!

You would hypothetically separate her from the church if you had to move for a job right? Her morale and being influenced by people who don't share your values is much more important than a job, but not worth separation?

Momming/ dad-ing is hard these days, being a teen is even harder. Praying that no matter your decision that protection from these influences is given ! 🙏

Sarah Dee's avatar

This situation is also teaching your daughter to stand strong in her beliefs (a very hard thing for a teenager to do). Sounds like it's building her backbone! And showing her that standing up for the right thing isn't always easy and sometimes comes with sacrifices. She's also a good example for others!

Natalie's avatar

I agree to all that too. 🤗

Julie Ann B's avatar

Which church is it in Dallas? I’d like to know!

Steph D's avatar

Your daughter is blessed with a wise mother!

It’s hard enough for us as adults to stand against the pressures of this weaponized empathy being thrust upon us, which is a form of psychological warfare. It’s 10x harder for young people, while their character and integrity is still being developed.

All of us as parents or adult role models need to stand strong against the propaganda for our own sake but much more for the sake of future generations.

God bless you and your family!

Sarah Beth's avatar

Big prayers! Tell her to stay strong & know there are plenty of hospitals outside of San Fransisco that will happily accept her !

Boze's avatar

Wow, I and a strong, two arms full load of mRNA rejecting Christians who live here in SF would be thrilled to sing with her outside the hospital(s) she's visiting. Only problem is organizing that on the spur of the moment, but our hearts and the Holy Spirit are with her on her tour, and may the Lord somehow intervene in this upside down, exclusive ban of her participation. It is embarrassing to say the very least.

Peter Schott's avatar

Well, the hospital does set the rules, but it still seems odd that any place for missions work would require that sort of proof otherwise. However, it _is_ CA so .... But really, why would any church in TX be pushing this on their mission trips or at least not publishing those requirements up front so people can choose not to go? We were just up in OKC for our mission work, cleaning up after the tornadoes and singing - no masks, even at nursing homes (though there was a sign on one door that was just ignored by almost everyone). We toured a rehab hospital as well - no masks required, let alone experimental injections.

I get wanting to stay at the church you grew up with, but man - that's just crazy stuff, especially for a TX church.

Donna in MO's avatar

Sadly, too many CA refugees in TX I suppose. Can't fathom why people move away from s-hole places to escape and then push the same policies that made their escape necessary from their last address. See the same thing here where our formerly solid red suburb is being infiltrated by the refugees from s-hole KC and have turned it purple on a good day. Of course I am constantly nagging my conservative friends whose activism extends to complaining on FB to get more involved, but bitching is easier.

TSumm's avatar

Yes, we get a lot of wealthy, lefty Cali refugees or employees of CA companies that have moved here (Tesla, Toyota). The dynamic is exactly as you describe.

Donna in MO's avatar

And they come in with CA real estate values $ and jack up the housing prices wherever they move. My sister and hubby are lonely conservatives in So Cal and I wonder if CA real estate prices are going to stay propped up long enough that when they retire in ~3 years they will be able to sell at the crazy values that still seems to be holding up at this point. Have not decided if they will stay or move, but they have friends who are happy with their exodus to TX.

Someone Somewhere's avatar

You all would be surprised at the number of social conservatives who still live in the SoCal. Honestly, we're busy adding to our numbers by speaking truth to anyone who will listen. Just yesterday a friend got in a conversation with the gas meter reader...who left excited to have found a kindred spirit. Don't discount us. We're here and we haven't rolled over. ;)

TSumm's avatar

Bless you all — that is a hard place to be.

RunningLogic's avatar

That is so encouraging!!

Donna in MO's avatar

Yes, they found some Trump rallies to attend, and there are pockets of sanity in San Bernadino county where they live. But she volunteered for the recall Newsom campaign only to see it ballot harvested into oblivion. Says if a R is ahead on election night, they always end up 'finding' more votes to defeat them days later. Our system is not perfect in MO but our elections are certified before CA even finishes counting. Local elections all counts are usually 100% of precincts reporting by the 10 PM news.

Lisa Ca's avatar

Its not California per se. Its the hospital

TSumm's avatar

And some of the missions sites. It is something you’re more likely to see in CA than many other states, and I think the church should have recognized and planned better for the difficulties choosing CA for tour would present for youth and their families.

Send her over to Hyde St Pier national park - my daughter is volunteering on restoring the historic sailing ships with a crew of Sea scouts - no vaccines required!

TSumm's avatar

Wow, that’s wonderful!

MadWorld's avatar

I pray she stays strong. Is this for COVID jabs or all jabs? I wonder if the SF hospitals and authorities are making these rules for visitors?

TSumm's avatar

Only CV jabs. Not one single question about more relevant health issues, especially while being housed in college dorms, like meningitis and pneumonia vax, or hepatitis status. Or mono — which her assigned roommate who’s giving her a hard time actually has!

S.P.H.'s avatar

I'll jump in again. With the massive influx of 3rd world immigrants covid is the least of the diseases to watch for. TB and polio are on the uptick. Lice, cholera, measles. I will only go to a hospital for a traumatic injury, and getting staff may kill me anyway. It sounds like your daughter will stay away from STD's, good job mom, but as Jeff mentioned, stay away from the SF festivals. I can only guess that these diseases are the penalty for the life style we are living.

axons007's avatar

There's someone on the planet who still thinks that the vaccines work? And against variants that no longer exist ? Would having taken the original 2 shots against the ancestral & Delta variants that haven't been around for 1-1/2 years be acceptable - even though now they are outlawed ? They've lived in the world, caught Covid six times, take 2 shots and 3 boosters and ....... come to what conclusion exactly ?

Karen Murphy's avatar

What? There are still places mandating the vax? What hospital?

Cynthia Ford's avatar

Oh man, Laguna Honda is a snake pit. Decades ago I took a nursing assistant course through a community college in SF, and we did a rotation there. We were told we couldn't say anything or speak out when the nurses were punching the patients. I can't imagine that it's any better now. I remember a nurse who was supposed to be wearing isolation PPE to come into a room, and she winked and just lifted up her plastic apron, no doubt spreading whatever infectious disease the patient had. Can't remember now lol.

TSumm's avatar

That is horrible. Those patients certainly need a message of love and hope, but they won’t be receiving it from my child this time around.

Roger Beal's avatar

Let me take a wild guess. This church is Evangelical Lutheran and interprets Galatians 3:28 as endorsing homosexuality.

Jamie's avatar

Prayer went up for your daughter to continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit and stand firm as an example of Christ. Then those other young people will see her love and kindness as she stands up for her beliefs and have the opportunity to ask her why. She has an opportunity to make change 🙏. As do you and your husband. Even if you help one person, while you are there, get closer to Christ and his teachings it will all be worth the hardships!

Don't ever trust Rep. Dan Crenshaw. He is a proven RINO and a disappointment to whoever believed in him. The hill for him to die on should be our wide open borders which is letting in terrorists, murderers and children sex traffickers.

Ben Swann @BenSwann_ Does anyone else find it odd that Peter Hotez is wearing a lab coat for an interview from his home office?

https://twitter.com/BenSwann_/status/1670813524321267717

some comments:

--The Milgram Experiment: Milgram found that 65% of his subjects were willing to give apparently harmful electric shocks—up to 450 volts—to a pitifully protesting victim, simply because a scientific, *lab coated* authority commanded them to.

--Observation: The man with an autistic child is telling everyone to inject vaccines into our children, while refusing to debate RFKjr, who presented data and information linking child vaccines to a rise in autism.

--I’m surprised he doesn’t have a stethoscope around his neck.

My 10 year old daughter is autistic and I’m filled with regret over listening to and believing the medical establishment. Regret is painful. It sucks.

Having said that, her life has been a beautiful example of God’s forgiveness. We work very hard together so that she can overcome many of her challenges related to autism.

I came to understand early on, that the ‘experts’ that were sent to help her, even those with good intentions, didn’t actually help but were harmful to her. Early intervention, ABA therapy, was not helpful. One such ‘expert’ even suggested keeping her in a locked room alone with the therapist while she cried for me. Um, NO.

I saw this further travesty getting ready to unfold, and so I did my own research.

If there are any parents of an autistic child on this thread, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) which is a parent led therapy, (not implemented by therapists) has helped my daughter immensely. I also have homeschooled her with a Christian curriculum since the first grade.

She’s now doing similar work as her neurotypical peers.

My daughter will always have challenges though. But I’ve learned (the hard way) that her dad and I were always and are now her best teachers and protectors. The professionals don’t actually care about her future honestly.

God offers not only eternal salvation but redemption here on earth. I have shed many tears over the very thought of God and His forgiveness and redeeming love for me. The work and the love I have put into my little girl’s life, along with God’s loving and righteous hand on her, has given me hope for her future. He’s working miracles still!

I'm completely in agreement with you! God is here! We went the medical route with one daughter who had profound ADHD and "comorbidities." She was bullied mercilessly by teachers, other parents other children, and family... it was hell! We tried about every kind of med out there to little relief. I had two elderly parents and an elderly aunt I was caring for, along with 2 older daughters we were raising at the time. Then my eldest (of the three young ones), was diagnosed with leukemia, and that sent the ADHD addled child into depression mode so severe we were forced to pull her out of private school. She ended up at the child development center where her doctors and therapists taught her... She attended homeschool, 4 different private schools, and her senior year in high school, the tutor bill was double the monthly tuition. We had too many therapists to count, (but I know the number) a neuro-pediatric psychiatrist, then pediatric psychiatrist with 5 board certifications...they all pushed every new big pHARMa drug. We delayed treatment most of the time. Then the diagnoses began to mount up. She spent a 3 dayer in rehab after one med caused serious suicide ideation and boy did that open our eyes! My parents and aunt passed away as she finished high school. She had one thing that really kept her from falling away... God. He gave her the most beautiful voice, an effervescent personality with the most incredible heaping helping of empathy ever witnessed... She could figure people out so fast... Never ever did I doubt God had a plan! We were told to "try to keep her on her meds until she's 25, her brain may wake up..." So that was the "aim." She was getting around with her singing and enjoying life after 23yrs...then, unbeknownst to us, she stopped all of her meds, cold turkey. She'd always been told she could not. Well, she did. Then six weeks later she told us she, "felt life was not to be lived in a cloud..." and she freed herself from that prison. We experienced many terrible events when meds were not taken when she was much younger, but somehow it was the right time for her when she stopped. Today she's earning her way, doing fantastic and preaching to folks she meets about the downside of medications for ADHD and the "stuff that goes with it." It's all about diet, exercise, self care and loving on everyone she meets. An incredibly sweet young lady who lived inside the worst of storms! She was born in 1994. Our maternal niece and our paternal nephew, one month prior. The niece, total agenesis of the corpus collossum. The nephew, high functioning aspergers. Don't think for a second I didn't wonder what was sprayed in the air or sprayed on food along the Eastern Seaboard during our pregnancies! But, my faith grew exponentially. We made lots of mistakes but God's grace covers a multitude of sin and mistakes! We endured because He endures. My husband's lack of trust in a holy plan had him convinced we'd be raising her the rest of our lives in our home, on our dime. I never stopped believing my God had her life covered. He has more than provided! Providential care for His children! You are a very blessed mother!

And now when I see "Maggie Think of Me" I will do so with amazement! You are very special and God bless you for all you have done and I'm sure there will be more.

Maggie Think of Me's avatar

How very sweet of you, brother! Thank you. I cannot take any credit, if not for Jesus' incredible, indivisible, indestructable, infallible love, I'd have given up. I look back in stunned humility. The "Maggie Think of Me" is in honor of the goodness of God for our "Maggie." She sings, "Think of Me" from Phantom of the Opera with such ease, with such a glorious voice, I have a hard time believing she's ours! He gave me the desire and the opportunity to live on my knees in humble obedience. Caring for 3 elderly adults along with our 4 girls was not easy. Mere months before my eldest was diagnosed with leukemia, my husband lost his ability to operate and it ended his career in the practice of medicine due to his disability insurance rules. Redirection means being able to pick everyone back up, dist off, and keep pushing forward. Our pastor in our early years had preached on Satan's tactics one Sunday. One of the things he said that stuck with me was, "Satan doesn't go after the unbelievers! No, he goes after those who are in the midst of the battle for their faith, those that cling to the Rock. He is relentlessly trying to find a way in, to break that bond. If Satan isn't fighting for you, you aren't living in Him!" I know that to be true. The fight was at every turn. We perservered. God was faithful throughout the fiercest battles, the sleepless nights, the endless days, the depression, the chemo, the ADHD, the anxiety, and the victories. He was immovable! He never failed. He hid is in the Cleft of His Rock.

I only recently found out about a wonderful psychologist named Roger McFillin. He did a podcast with Allie Beth Stuckey, and my daughter, who struggles with anxiety, asked me to listen to it with her. He's great--a libertarian who is fighting against the narrative of mental "illness." https://www.drmcfillin.com/

I've just been listening to his interview with Dr. Chuck Ruby, author of Smoke and Mirrors: How You Are Being Fooled About Mental Illness - An Insider's Warning to Consumers. Jeff is right about the pandemic. I started out being skeptical of COVID, and it has led me to truth in so many areas that I would not otherwise have considered.

Average Amy's avatar

Maggie Think of Me, thank your for sharing. Sadly, I think it’s the childhood v- schedule that definitely could of contributed to your daughter’s diagnosis. I think it depends on your zip code. They have crafty ways after reading Turtles allThe way Down of cleverly dispersing lot numbers to various regions throughout your county. So that’s how they get away it having only a small portion have adverse reactions. It’s literally playing Russian roulette what goes in the arm. This is my theory any way. Can’t prove nothing. But I can look at both of my children and their issues and their shot schedules and tie things together. Back then I didn’t know any better and trusted the Pediatrician. So many common health issues are basically caused by all these harmful adjacents they use.

God is so good and healing when we consult Him 1st!

Maggie Think of Me's avatar

I agree with that accessment. We told our pediatrician we didn't feel comfortable giving her vaccines on their schedule. She was one of many who had a strange cry after a combo DPT I think (I should remember!), and he spoke up and said, no more for her. I had to fight with every pediatrician after that. When she was 11 they started pushing Guardisil (spel?). I was adamant! "NO!" Every one of her doctors pushed it on us! When my husband accompanied me, they would push him. But, I fought tooth and nail and told her to fight it as well. We stopped all vaccines for her. When Covid came she already knew it wasn't going into her am in vax form. And she lost a high paying job because she refused! They accepted her religious exemption then started changing her hours and schedule. Did everything they could to break her, hoping she'd give in. Nope! They had her meet with HR six weeks after that and fired her. She could have sued them. (Jeff helped us get the religious exemption letters she needed). But, she decided to walk away because she was able to find another job and then something finally came along. If I knew then, what I know now, there would have been no vaccines for any of our daughters. None of my brother's children were vaxxed. Never sick. Then his grandchildren and the great grandbabies, not one have been vaxxed and they're as healthy as horses!

Average Amy's avatar

Thank you for the reply! I wish I would of have woken up sooner. My oldest was injured by the HPV. That’s is what led me on the journey and why I taken the time to learn about it all. It did prepare us for the last 3 years of C-vd mania!

We are standing here today healthy because of God’s Grace and being able to discern and look at what will help the body verses hurt!

Julie Ann B's avatar

God bless you Steph. Your little girl is blessed to have a mom like you looking after her best interests. I believe parents are the best teachers and protectors. Do you think her autism is related to vaccines? Thank you for sharing this story; you have been an inspiration to me today.

Steph D's avatar

Hi Julie, thank you for your kind words! 🙏🏻💗

I can’t know for sure that it was the vaccines. But I suspect based on her steady regression in her intellectual and emotional ability into 22 months, after most of the infant/toddler vaccines were given to her. She went from being very interactive, knowing all the animal sounds and belly laughing to a stoic and sort of ‘spaced out’ disposition.

The pediatrician gave us a standard form at 18 or 20 months that asked if our daughter answered to her own name. I answered no. The pedi passively told us with a shoulder shrug that it’s possible our daughter is on the spectrum and abruptly left the room after giving us a referral to a specialist.

After perfect hearing test results, the pediatric neurologist confirmed the autism diagnosis. It was a roller coaster ride for 4 years after that. We are just now hitting our stride with the perfect balance of therapy led by us, and homeschool. She also attends a Christian school for extracurricular activities and socialization. She is thriving and loves her family and the Lord. ♥️

She has taught me so much about life. God is good!

If only we all had known the truth about vaccines prior to Covid. I’m a retired RN with 32 years of experience and have been shocked at all I’ve learned recently. One of my good friends had a beautiful baby boy and I was there at the delivery. Around 18 months she started noticing some delays that were odd compared to her first child and shortly afterwards was diagnosed with autism as well. God is faithful and so kind and loving with whatever we face in this fallen world and I admire how you’ve handled the situation. I’ll remember you and your family in my prayers.

The only purpose of a lab coat is to project authority. Seriously.

Jeff C's avatar

Yup, it's trappings no different than ceremonial garb. The whole doctor/patient relationship is like a priesthood. The diploma, AMA certificate, the state licensing certificate all displayed on the wall showing they are member of the priesthood. You call them by title, they call you by first name. If you decline to follow their direction, you are "non compliant" as if their direction is mandatory.

Seinfeld had a great bit about how whenever you go to the doctor, the first thing they do is make you sit there with no pants on, as if it's a humiliation ritual. After that, anyone who walks in wearing pants automatically seems competent. Pants always beats no pants.

'Democrats accused Republicans of “attacking transgender youth” .'

There are no naturally occuring "transgender youth". Certainly there is a small group of people who have gender dysphoria. But the vast majority of what the Left calls "trans" are created through the mental and physical abuse euphemustically called affirmation, inflicted on vulnerable youths by parents, teachers, and medical professionals.

Johnny Be Real's avatar

I remember growing up there were boys who were on the “wimpy” side and girls on the “tough” side.

At no point, ever, ever, did it cross our child minds that they were not boys and girls.

That insanity is pushed by sick adults on children.

Sick adults.

Paul Ashley's avatar

That's quite possibly a factor (I follow Malone and read it today) but it doesn't account for the recent and massive spike in "trans kids" seen primarily in Western nations.

CBF's avatar

The easiest and quickest way to put a stop to this Trans lunacy is to remove the involvement of Private Insurance or Medicare. By going to a cash transaction, the parents of these children would actually have to evaluate the costs versus (currently just reaping) the benefit. Even a minimal search of pre & post transitioning costs finds them to be well above the ability to pay for the average American (hence why it’s such a good business for the “Industry”). No need to restrict anything, just make it an option for those who can afford to go their own way (much like cosmetic surgery, except for years of follow up hormones and complications related surgeries- all paid for out of pocket).

Johnny Be Real's avatar

In dealing with this I was shocked to learn insurance companies pay for this.

Follow the money.

Roger Beal's avatar

YOU and I pay for this, in form of higher premiums.

Just as we pay for the new urban "retail reparations" programs endorsed by leftist DAs, in form of higher property & loss premiums.

Just as we pay for those worthy virtuous and subsidized purchasers of electric cars, in form of higher income taxes.

Alison Smith's avatar

Many of them want Medicaid to pay for the surgeries. Always someone else has to pay.

ClarabelleVonH's avatar

That's exactly what I said. Or...make it so that all "trans" surgeries have to be given by institutions on a pro bono basis. Let's see how enthusiastic they are about free affirmation.

Patrice's avatar

And then maybe my premiums won't have to double each year to pay for these abominations.

Jen's avatar

That's the tricky part. The overlords will see to it that these are paid for by insurance & medicaid/medicare so the rest of us are funding this madness that only enriches them and further hurts , indebts the middle class.

Maggie Think of Me's avatar

But there must be restrictions!! We're talking about children! That's the most horrible part. They're jumping past the cross sex hormones, testosterone, drugs, etc and right in with the knives! They're cutting girls breasts off at 13 years of age! They castrating these children, then permanently scarring their limbs to fashion sexual organs! ENOUGH! They now allow abortion up to the point of birth and sex "change" therapy to start earlier and earlier. The MDs doing these surgeries are ghouls!! Why are insurance companies using our hard earned money to pay for these destructive surgeries? Where will we end up? We'll destroy children. It is mind boggling.

Sara A's avatar

I have a solution to the doctors receiving pharma money. Those who take $ from pharma can be sued for vaccine injury. I like your idea of out-incentivizing them, but pharma will always outspend us. Putting liability on kick-back docs would force them to stop taking the money.

M VARR's avatar

The law in place for these crooks is called

RICO.

Sara A's avatar

But RICO has historically been for direct financial gain of a doctor receiving a kickback after writing many Rx’s or getting paid for a speaking engagements by a pharmaceutical company to promote the opioid they overprescribe? Has it been applied to vaccines? This feels a little different bc the doctors are trying to increase overall vaccine uptake. They may or may not be the administrator of the vaccine. I’m not an attorney, but maybe Jeff could explain why RICO isn’t currently used in the case of vaccines. I also wonder if vaccines aren’t seen as harmful in the same way an addictive drug like an opioid is accepted as dangerous & addictive (although, I see many similarities).

Emu's avatar

If someone wants to trot out RICO, they should start at NIH,NIAH and the CDC. These agencies are setting health policy for our country and mandating treatments that they own the patents on! How is that legal. Good health policy? Follow the money.
