But he’s def not the AC. He isn’t handsome, charming, charismatic nor compelling. He’s def one of

his minions.

After studying diligently to show myself approved for 33 years, I disagree wholeheartedly, but I respect you way too much to argue.

I am for sure not arguing. Just thinking of this verse: Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared. From this we know that it is the last hour.

— 1 John 2:18

So, I must admit, I’ve never noticed this verse! I’ve been a strong Christian for decades, went to Christian school, Christian college and my parents dragged us to church Sun. am, Sun. pm, Wed. nights and to every VBS within a 20 miles radius and I’ve been a student of the WORD via Shepherd’s Chapel for 32 years! I am now on a deep dive to find out exactly what this means bc Apollyon, Abaddon, the Assyrian, the Destroyer, THE Anti-Christ is described over & over as THE one who comes in all charming, charismatic and handsome, deceiving loads of people, sitting where he ought not be seated, and remains in power, until the

2 witnesses are killed, lying in the street, then God brings them back to

life and Katy, bar the door. Michael is let loose— all that… (paraphrased! 😝)

That all adds up to HE, ONE being, to me. SO… (to quote our fearless leader, Jeff) I’m in a deep dive to get

to the bottom of why “there are many antichrists” yet its always referred to as “HE”.

My apologies!

No apology necessary! I believe both — “many” and “one” — are correct. Let me know what you learn, as I am still learning too, of course. Blessings to you.
