You might say "my blood sugar is under control". All this means is your pancreas can still produce enough insulin to cram the sugar into your cells. Eventually, however, your body will become insulin resistant and the blood sugar will spike. Glory hallelujah, you now have another condition that is targetable by drugs.

The answer has to do with something called EUA early use authorization. No drug can be legal unless it goes through time consuming trials. If a drug can help a serious illness it can get an EUA if it can show that no other approved drug exists for the condition. Covid vaccine was never put through any trials but it was granted an EUA. In order to do this they had squash ivermectin and hydrochloride . That’s why those two were subjected to constant disparaging so that the claim could be made that no other drug exists to treat COVID. Follow the money. A significant malignancy is Statins. Nobody needs them. There is no benefit. They exist because the industry managed to find a targetable metric they can change with drugs. I have news for you - people who take statins still have heart attacks. Just ask my brother in law. He and his wife are obese, yet the standard of care is to give them blood pressure and cholesterol meds. He just suffered his first heart attack (which he thankfully survived).
Both of them have metabolic syndrome. But there's no drug for that, so it is not highlighted in their annual physicals. How do I know? It's easy. Go to MyChart (or whatever your provider uses) and look at your lipid panels. Then divide your Triglycerides by your HDL. If the ratio is above 2.0 (for men) or 1.6 (for women), you have a problem.
You might say "my blood sugar is under control". All this means is your pancreas can still produce enough insulin to cram the sugar into your cells. Eventually, however, your body will become insulin resistant and the blood sugar will spike. Glory hallelujah, you now have another condition that is targetable by drugs.
Or, you can determine your ratio and take control of the situation. Cut out the sugar and grain and the situation will resolve. You will probably lose weight, and you will almost certainly need to stop your blood pressure meds. While you're at it, stop taking the statins, too.
Stop feeding the Pharma beast. Take control of your health and learn self control. It's one of the fruits of the spirit, after all.

Notwithstanding Johnson’s inert bill, there is something that needs to be said about Congress, and now is the time to say it.
Eighteen months ago, there was optimism that a Republican-led Congress, supporting the Republican administration, would get some things done. After all, when the Democrats had remotely similar circumstances, they succeeded in ramming through all manner of insane shit, such as taxpayer funded gender transitions of children, Obamacare, and giving more benefits to illegals than citizens.
After a year or so of inaction, there was hope that Congress would codify some of the actions the President had taken. Doing so in advance of the mid-terms would have been excellent strategy.
Instead, it appears most Republicans want to follow the democrats, and run out the clock on the President.
Then, things will go back to normal: open border, rampant fraud and congressional grifting, Green New Deal, restoration of USAID, the SPLC, and BLM to their rightful pinnacles of glory, increased crime, and NGOs and non-profits swimming in taxpayer funds... damn, makes one long for the old days...
