Last fall, there was a huge funeral for a man who the press said was the 'last R mayor in KC' (although technically mayoral races are supposed to be non-partisan) His last year in office was 1991. As it's non-partisan, I am not sure, but can't even remember the last time a Conservative was even on the ballot for Mayor…

Most Conservatives fled to the suburbs a long time ago, hubby and I included.
