2 HOURS! I know! There's very few things I sit and listen for that amount of time. But you can always click and choose. And if you don't like it, just give it the big whoose off into Deep Cyber Space ... and never to be seen again.
I don't agree with every bit of the analysis. But a) it challenges my thought processes, and b) Barnes accesses things I could not in a million years. Good source material here.
Here's the Metager search and all kinds of places:
I really enjoyed listening to Whitney Webb on Redacted. Really, I’m not sure of what to believe any more. It seems that both Trump and Vance do not rely on Thiel for funds but only for political support at this point. As I said, I cannot tell where the truth is. Thanks again, Dave.
Well, and first of all, believe yourself. And know that it is not so easy to know exactly who is whom. It is easier to tell what someone is not. For example, none of the current contestants is a George Washington or a Patrick Henry. And so, whomever wins, whether it is Vice President Cackle or Trump ... don't expect a restoration of the original American system, a series of constitutional Christian republics, and constitutional by a Christian law order. It is not going to happen.
Whitney Webb has done us all a great service. And she is mostly right about everything. But we should not lose sight of the fact that there are factions and differences between players within the current 'box' of expectations. For example, it is possible and very probable that we should not equate Thiel in a one to one correspondence with people like Bezos and Zuckerberg. And so, I also think Barnes made some good observations.
In a round about way, I think that what we are witness to a situation which is somewhat of a repeat of the 21st century, that of Brown Shirts versus Red Shirts, radical Marxism versus 'conservative' Marxism. In this context, the reason that the radical Marxists want to crucify Trump is that Trump is not radical enough; or in their radical lexicon, the sin of Trump is that he is 'retrograde', throw back to a more benign form of Marxism (era of FDR) which included vestiges of the older America of the 19th century. The radicals do not want any turning back of the clock to a time when things still made sense to most people. The radicals want full scale revolution to bring in and complete the revolution, thus bring in an entire new world order.
Can’t get it to play.
But 2 HOURS?!?!
Is there a condensed version?

Play it while you do other tasks. I often listen at 1.25 speed. It helps. Worth the time.
