You're not supposed to know that all of your global "leaders" are working diligently to rapidly deteriorate your economy, society, security, and family because you'd be far less likely to go along with this charade if you knew you were just a gladiator in the Coliseum.

Try vaccination — It never will hurt you,
For vaccination has this one great virtue:
Should it injure or kill you whenever you receive it,
I was totally with you until the last couple of paragraphs which stated that good deeds will earn your entry into heaven. Only believing that the sinless Son of God died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day and offers you eternal life with Him as a free gift can gain your entrance into heaven. No human being can earn that privilege. Those good works in your graphic are the result of a new life in Christ, not just choices we make in our own strength.
I get that James 2:14-26 “ this is sometimes taken out of context in an attempt to create a works- based system of righteousness, but that is contrary to many other passages of Scripture. James is not saying that our works makes us righteous before God but that real saving faith is demonstrated by good works “
To take it a step further about laying your life down for others , this is more important than ever , some throw others under a bus to get ahead nowadays. Another way to look at kindness.... John 15:13
In a sense, if we could be saved by our own works (efforts), then we would be transformed into God competitors, not the slave, servants of Christ we are commanded to be. Works or Grace, this was the big point of contention in the great Reformation/Restoration struggle.
Trying to 'earn salvation' on ones own merit is a squirrel wheel burden no man needs. Salvation by Christ alone is a great release from futility. And from unending anxiety.
I liked the graphic, however, this sentence seems to be unChristian to me. "God has given you an exceedingly minute moment on this earth to prove yourself through your good deeds, and in doing so gain everlasting life in heaven" We do not earn our way into heaven by good deeds. Jesus is The Way.
"By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2) You are not saved by your works, but your faith is shown by your works. I Can't Imagine is correct: you cannot earn your way into heaven. Christ's suffering and death earned my way into heaven. Now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I can do good works.
God knows the heart bottom line. He knows who is trying to earn their way into heaven versus accepting Christ's gift. It is impossible to accept Christ's gift and then not have good works. We fall short, but we still try.
That is true but that is not salvation. What you are talking about is sanctification. Justification is through faith in the work of Christ on the cross (unearned) and is the gift of God.
the ultimate good deed is Faith and Trust in "God". Abraham knew his promised Messiah and savior generations before the manifested One arrived to accomplish the new covenant with Adam's sons and daughters
Taking the time to read the article and your feedback (I Can't Imagine/Grief Journal, Cheryl Caraglior) are both appreciated. Your interpretations do not align with what believe to be true, however. Namely, the idea that you can gain entry into heaven simply by believing rather than by doing. This is self-defeating in my view.
This quote from Dietrich Bonhoeffer comes to mind:
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
We will have to agree to disagree, and thanks again for taking the time to read it and for commenting on it.
Belief (faith) without action is dead (i.e. non-redemptive). That's from scripture and mirrors well with the concept of "you shall know [whether a person is a true believer and redeemed] by their fruits [i.e. actions]."
So, I think followers of Christ would agree that it's not the good works that earns your salvation, but that true salvation will inevitably drive a believer to good works. Someone not acting in that manner is likely not saved (i.e. never came to redemptive faith in their Savior).
Yes, Thoughtful said what I tried to say about God knowing the heart. With Christ's heart, it is impossible not to do good deeds. If people are not doing them, then I have to wonder if their heart is where their lips are.

Even the devil believes in all that.
Know your Bible: Faith without works is dead..A tree is known by it’s fruits..

Well stated.

Thank you Cheryl. 💯
Thank you John Madden

I think it was CS Lewis that said GRACE defines Christianity ❤️🙏
my long time pastor always said (from the pulpit) that GRACE means Gods Righteousness At Christ's Expense....great acronymic definition.

Yes to knowing the Bible, yes to knowing salvation is only through Jesus Christ. ❤️
and not only that, but it isn't a moment in time, it's a daily struggle.
I believe the Jewish religion is based on good deeds, to enter Heaven, so perhaps it’s written by someone Jewish ...
Catholics believe good deeds will get you to heaven, too.
With respect, that is not a true statement.

Exactly! You expressed what I was about to.
It’s not an either or. The gift of salvation manifests in a changed life which includes service.

Terrific comment
Do you have a photo of the document you could link? Or a website? Thanks!
I believe its from the book “Dissolving Illusions, Disease, Vaccines, and the Forgotten History”

I found this
Yes, his screenshot shows that at the top of the page (as a draft), and the quote they use is about 're-vaccination.'
This is the closest source I have from the book: Vaccine History You Don't Know
