This trash thing is a perfect example of how the left pulls one sentence out of 6 hours of content and tries to exploit it.
I saw the whole comedian bit and watched most of the event. That comedian wasn’t that good but he made fun of everything. There was no singled out group. It’s comedy! They make fun of stuff. So what.

Trump does a rally every day. These speakers don’t submit their scripts for Trump to approve. It’s free speak and they can say studio things if they choose.
The free speech angle has not been highlighted enough. The guy is a comedian. Comedians are supposed to push the envelope and we used to appreciate this about them. We are all SO sensitive now. I thought the Left was about joy?
P.S. I did watch a little clip of the comedian from the Tom Brady roast and I must admit, I laughed at some very off-color humor. Not every jab hit, but some really did.
Like him or hate him, Kill Tony Aka Tony Hinchcliffe, has the #1 podcast and has sold out MSG himself two night in a row. To top it off, he usually has Shane Gillis on who does a perfect Trump impression.
Our Gen Z son introduced us to Kill Tony and we were so excited to see him on the Trump rally stage. I'm sure Baron told his dad to get that guy at the rally and you'll win the Gen Z male vote.
I agree with your comments about the comedian. It caused me to do a bit of searching about where specifically he got that terminology. If you look on the NOAA site, you can find an article that calls the trash in the waters around Puerto Rico a “garbage patch.” That’s the official terminology used! There five identified “GARBAGE PATCHES” in the world’s oceans. The effort to clean up the trash on the island and in the waters surrounding Puerto Rico has been going on officially with NOAA and the US Department of Commerce (& now EPA & other “stakeholders”) since about 2013. Now “yearly” they have to revise the program because it’s such a huge herculon job that they admit, may not be possible to clean up.
